[Q] Which ROM to choose? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey guys ,
Im new to the Galaxy S III forums and I was just wondering based on testing/results which ROM would be best to run? There are so many out there that i'm just not sure which one to choose. I wouldn't mind a JB ROM but i'm just not sure how stable they are. Please let me know what ROMs have been working out best for you guys.
Thanks,
Indian

if you want a very stable rom, go with triune II its an ics based rom, and if you want a stable jb rom go with smartguys rom

If you don't mind losing touchwiz (I don't like it...but some do) then CM 10 is very stable and fast. It is jellybean based.

[Q] About ROMS

I guys,
I'm new to this ROM things.
I want to install a ROM that don't bring me problems or bugs, and that got embedded all the usefull stuff.
At this stage, is better installing CyanogenMod 7.1 KANG RC-3.0 or Cy4noobsMod-7.1.3.1??
Which is more stable and has no bugs??
Or do you recommend me another ROM?
I currently have GB 2.3.5 Stock Rom via sammobile.com
Thanks =)
I would recommend CM 7.2 RC1.
It's the most stable CyanogenMod for the gio right now and works just fine.
I would not recommend any other cyanogen, as they all have some issues right now.
If you want something closer to stock rom, go for particle rom.
You'll find all of them toghether with directions in the developers section here.

If you're looking for a stable rom for mow there are two kind.
1. The stock GB rom it is stable, and official for our phone
2. The CM9 by arco, it is stable for now, but it is not official for our phone, but it still works great.
And there are many costumized CM9 based rom you can try it, it stable enough and it is good.
Just flash it and you can use the full feature of the rom, just follow the instructions precisely while you want to flash it to reduce the risk of bricking your phone.

An imoprtant question to devs

I dont know how far i am saying it right im a noob but some questions going in my mind,
1. Is it possible to port a rom with samsung UI for wildfire?
2. If porting of rom is possible from galaxy mini to wildfire then i guess we might have a stable rom for ics
3. Some other phones have also attained stablility with their custom ICS versions so it would be a great option to port ICS from their built
-requesting your generous attention. :fingers-crossed:
1. By samsung ui do you mean touchwiz. Actually it may be possible but most people dont bother.
2. Actually for a rom to be stable the base rom should be perfect. Like our cm9 has native cancorder bug so it will be present in every cm9 based rom.
3. This is the same as no 2.

[Q] Stable daily ROM recommendation?

Hello.
My friend asked me to reflash his Desire Z, so I'm looking for some stable daily ROM (ICS or higher).
For now I chosen:
MIUI 4.2.28 multi
AOSP 4.2.2 Jelly Baby (really not sure about this ROM)
Sensei 1.3.0
Sabsa Prime v15
any other tips?
Thanks
Normally best dd ROM questions are not to be asked, but I assume sense you are doing this for a friend you won't easily be able to flash a bunch and try them out as what is normally suggested

You will find a list of all ROMs here, many will say the most stable and fastest ROMs will be gingerbread based as that's as far as HTC brought this device. But many 4.x ROMs are quite nice for dds
Best recommendation is to flash a couple of the "more popular" ROMs and make nandroid of each and place on SD card, then instruct your friend how to easily change between them so s/he can decide for themselves what is best

I know that it's not possible to say one ROM, but on the other hands always exist ROM which can't be marked as very stable (e.g. KitKats build now)
