CM10 Monthly Builds or Nightly Builds? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Do you suggest flashing the monthly build, or the nightly builds? Just want to hear your input.

Yes.

Depends on you and your style.
I like CM but don't experiment enough or have time to play with nightly builds so I went with the M version and am very happy!

Hi. Does this mean that this is an OFFICIAL cyanogenmod version? I don't like using alphas and betas as I need a stable daily driver with zero to no flaws
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
well, it's the official release from CM but it's not the final release. should be a lot more stable than previous releases

RC2 means Release Candidate 2 ...this version is 90% stable, normally there are 3 release candidates before a stable release.
Well if it didn't have bugs, then it wouldn't be called Release Candidate.

I've been using cm9 since they started making nighties, you can easily install RC2 as a daily driver. Battery's good, fast and pretty stable.
I've been running cm9 Nightlies for a long time now, and they where all pretty much stable for a dd. They could have called them stable releases for all I knew lol. Been running rc2 since it released and so far so good. It's why cm is has always had the best roms

I've been a fan of dark side for quite some time and have never tried cm due to lack of wifi calling which I need. Any chance that you can shed some light on whether this build is worth a try over dark side?

Should I do a complete wipe before flashing to this? Running nightly 7/15 at the moment.

Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the RC2 and the RC2 nightly, I'm thinking not much since they are both the same size. Thanks

JB Gapps Recommend?

Hey guys and gals,
I was just curious which JB Gapps package do you recommend for the CM10 official builds? I currently use July 26th signed and always have. Is there a better or newer one that is recommended or is this one still fine to use? Thanks to all that respond.

My appologies, I am a little confused. Which JustinBean Gapps version? I see a bunch of different ones offered on their website and its 133mb? That seems really big.

I have no idea what gapps they're talking about. I just use the 20121011 gapps off the website.

Well, the ones in the thread are for the latest 4.1.2. The 132 MB one comes with extra apps like Apollo and Dropbox and others.
The slightly smaller ones come with only GAPPS. Not too sure about the size right now but it should be around 85 MB.

It's stable but you need to flash the new radio UVMC6 for optimal connectivity.
I found it very buggy, smoothish, but suffered from a lot of sleep of deaths
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2
I tried it an connectivity sucked I couldn't send or receive texts den flashed the new radio an connection worked but it was laggy for me too. Not as smooth as I liked

I tried it, but then I had a bunch of SODs and random reboots. I'll go back to RC2 with new radio and Cerux kernel.
I've been on 5/17, well, since 5/17. I was going to updated on Sat, and then today, but it's working so well I left as is. Everything is working great.
Are we getting RC3?

Some people complain the camera is buggy. That's it.
Ayysir built it from source. He's an official dev for t mobile and has been building for us this week. The title hasn't change because g2usr is running the thread.
