[Q] process for new flash cm10 - HTC One X

just trying to get my self straight before i dive in again.
i currently using leedroid on my hox.
i am going to flash the latest build for cm10 .
Now I get the extract boot.img and flash The cm zip file akd the gapps but what is the modules ?
Tia

Required modules for the boot.img included in the zip are already built into the rom. So no need to flash them separately.

Im getting massive drain now also. Let battery drain to 1 then fully charge. Now it went from 100 to 90 in a few min of txtn. Display at 0. Also cpu wont lock. On new kernal.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

Some people mentioned that and it turned out to be Google+ and not the kernel.
Do you have it installed?

If not I would try going back to official beta 2 instead of gorbi16 's unofficial one.

Any ideas, kernal or rom related

As you may or may not have known goo.im deleted almost all of it's files on their primary server, unfortunately this includes my stuff. For ease of access, I normally keep all of my stuff on goo.im safe (or not so safe as it happens) but because these files are all gone I need them back if possible. I don't keep any built ROMs local so if you happen to have any of my ROMs or mods in your download folders, feel free to mirror them so I can download them myself and put them back in their original goo.im folders.
More information is on Snipa's blog here: http://snipanet.com/lustre-pain-and-goo/

Nope, but thanks anyway
Oh... I think I've found something to download... Maybe try that : https://github.com/wfsdev/robotomod/zipball/Xena.
EDIT : Yes I think this is the good one. I re-edit if it is not
RE-EDIT : I tried to install... and then 'Installation aborted' I don't know if the problem comes from my phone or the zip.
I have CM10 latest build but I can't mirror till tomorrow as I'm out today.

Do you still need CM10 latest build? (10th of August)
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using XDA App
http://db.tt/hnnmOlTu that should work. Hopefully not corrupted (CM10 latest marvel build)
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using XDA App
I have all cm10 builds from you saved on my laptop, also the gapps (is say it though the link functions :silly: ).... Well: tried to send you via email but isn't possible to send files via xda developers mail. So would be helpful if you could send me your email in private message (via my account on xda) or just as reply. Also cm9 builds by modpunk are saved on my laptop. Just answer and I'll send them ASAP (as soon as I read your message)
Hope can help you to improve rom. Maybe it would be helpful to save builds on your laptop or on your phones sd card.. .
Go on!
I have roboto mod so if you need I can mirror it

turning off and on

my htc one x is turning off and on after i used this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749968 .
So you flashed a kernel using this tool? What did you flash exactly and what ROM are you on?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Installing kernels can be very dangerous. I hope you manage to fix it. This isn't my area of expertise so I can't help much, sorry.

Speaker problem?

Brand new one v, trying to listen to music it doesn't play in stereo, it plays like in mono. For example when two guitars play at the same time you can only hear one. Is there a reason or fix for this? I'm not rooted or anything.
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
Just factory reset, still nothing...
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
Its probably beats audio. Beats is gimmicky crapware, if you move to a cyanogenmod based ROM the music will probably sound better. I know on stock a few of my songs just buzz but in cm they play fine.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
There any other way to fix it rather than a Rom? I did just unlock and root.
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
You might be able to remove the binaries after a backup with clockworkmod, but since this is my first phone with beats and I just used cm to get rid of it I couldn't tell you how to do it. I'm sure there is a guide on Google, or one of the chefs like jmz could possibly tell you how. Sorry I can't be of more help, hopefully someone else sees this and can be.
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Its a kernel problem flash KISS Kernel if you are rooted
Sent from my HTC One V using xda premium
Is that a gsm kernel? I'm on the virgin mobile cdma, I could only find the jmz one.

well this is a simple kernel bug on stock kernels. Without using custom kernel there is no way to fix it
ask jmz or simon. think their cdma kernels include that fix. At least I told them how to fix

Evervolv *AOSP* 3.2.0
1ceb0x working hard now on this 4.2.2 based rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230656
Evervolv is a rom which is based and it will continue to be based on AOSP sources - basically you get what Android is meant to be but with some small tweaks added by the Evervolv team. In the future, I intent to implement a few things in it (if they will be compatible) such as: PIE controls (CM cherry-picks), ability to add other icons/buttons in the Quick Status bar, etc; with the intention to transform this rom, in a 'personal' one if you will. This will be a slow process and don't expect to implement them in a few days just because you want. I will have a designated project manager who will survey other teams (cm for example) and he will tell me what worths implementing and what not.
