[HELP]How to cook Launcher Pro Plus into CM6?

I need some help into cooking Launcher Pro Plus into CM6. I bought and installed it to my current CM6 test5 from koush and it runs really,really good. Best one yet. I understand that it works great, as is, but I'd like to cook it in and take ADW Launcher out.
I know I would need to do much more than just switching out apk's. What other files would I have to modify for cooking it in?
Would it be much easier for me to push,pull, and modify a few files from my current ROM?
I just want it installed as my main launcher in system. The PLUS version is a paid app so I'm sure I won't be the only one asking how to do this.

Wouldnt it be as easy as deleting ADW and the just pushing Launcher Pro to /system/
Don't really think you need to do anything else.

Heh. Well that's what i'm trying to find out. I thought I would have to modify more files to instruct the install process or 2.2 to look for Launcher Pro Plus, instead of ADW.
I'm a noob so I don't know.

Nope. Any file manager will do fine.

Ok. Thanks. Didn't think it would be that simple. I'll pull the ADW apk from test5 zip and replace with LauncherPro Plus apk.
**UPDATE** Worked! easy.

You can have multiple launchers on your phone. If you put LauncherPro and others on your phone. If you have more then one installed at first it will ask you when your first boot your phone to select which one you want to run. It also has an option to set as default, meaning that is the default launcher that will always go to. If you don't set a default, every time you press the home key it will ask you which launcher to run. If you set a default and later want to change it to another launcher, go to settings>applications>choose the current default launcher and select clear defaults. Then it will go back to asking what you want to launch when you press the home key and you can choose a new default.

homeswitcher is an app in the market that lets u manage your launchers...very easy, great app!

yes there is, im running it on Sky Raider froyo v1.9 right now. here's the apk if it doesn't show up in the marketplace.

Not for cm6. It is shot. I can change homes , bit when i hit the home key, it just redirects me to my old hyme.

Why not just remove ADW through root and reinstall LauncherProPlus from Titanium Backup? Provided you already have a version saved on there?

he few paid apps that deserves a couple if bucks in a publicly available download?

[Q] App drawer scrolling on touch wiz

Hi All!
I really love the new TouchWiz but one thing that is annoying is the scrolling on app drawer. it to much iphone and not so comfortable.
so I wonder, is there a way to change the app drawer so it will be scrolling down and has 3D like the stock android/adw?

Switching to an alternative launcher like ADW Launcher EX is probably the easiest solution.
Try the "Nexus"-preset & "Vertical new" for the app drawer!

I think you didn't understood me properly(or maybe I didn't explain myself clear):
I really like what samsung did with the TouchWiz 4. So I want to keep it.
I want just to change the AppDrawer to be vertical scrolling(prefer with 3d).
Is theres a way to do that?

Im used to app drawers with the apps sorted in alfabetic order.
Is there an easy way of doing this in TW4?

In the app drawer, hit menu and then 'List view'. A reboot will default to the original.
No 3d I'm afraid.

Touchwiz app sorter in market. Need to be rooted.

yes it does.. prior versions didnt work but latest works.

The launcher is "what you see"
It's like explorer.exe on your windows computer.
You have to have one.

The LauncherPro app gives you that capability. In its preference menu, simply maneuver to the 'advanced' setting and enable the 'use 3D drawer' feature.

This wont change anything with my theme or rosie or anything? Basically will this just give me the app drawer and thats it?

It'll change your homescreen and your app drawer.
It won't touch your theme.

Yes, you will not have a rosie anymore because launcher pro will take it's place.

It has been on some themes and rosies mods, but I cant remember for what roms. look in the themes/mods section for whatever rom you are running, and you might get lucky.

He will have 'both' and until he makes one of them the default launcher, he will be prompted to choose between the two whenever he hits the home key.

Wow, really ? Of course there always has to be somebody to point out the obvious. I doubt the op is that ignorant that he can't figure that out when it asks him. I guess some people just can't help but argue. Yet another useless post in the wonderland that is XDA.

How Do I Add Empty Slots To App Drawer Using GO Launcher EX

Hi, as the title, i would like to add empty slots, to spread the apps out a little, rather than having 16 on one page, you could do this using the stock launcher, so why cant i do this on GO Launcher EX , can anyone shed some light?

Oh my bad, sorry! I just thought id post it here cos its themes/apps related!
It's weird isnt it, the stock launcher has the ability to do it, but for some reason GO Launcher EX doesnt
EDIT: I have posted in the right section now.

I am pretty sure you can do this be changing the grid settings in the app drawer.

Cool, what do you like about the Launcher?
If it's the slide effect you like, you will find it in several different launchers these days. Im pretty sure ADW and Apex launcher has them. Maybe even GoLauncher?
The rest is just a live wallpaper and icon setup
Edit: OOPs... a wallpaper and a widget. I don't know how he got it on the lock screen though.
