Haha,I actually agree but I thought some people would want to check it out.I don't like this new Google Play in front of everything & the new icons are terrible imo but I seriously doubt they will go back

Why is it not matching ICS? The icon and app pages are halo light and overview in halo dark. It matches perfectly (if you saw the android developer site.)
Though I do miss Andy. They need to put him somewhere in the market.

"Market" is not a name

Just got it as well.
I like how they replaced everything with 'Play'.
Instead of 'Read The Hunger Games' it's 'Play The Hunger Games'
Hopefully they'll update something worthwhile soon so I can 'Play with Google Wallet' instead of having it broken.

im ok with the 'play' name its the icon/logo i dont like, market was prettier

I recall reading a blog mentioning that the term "app" was patented by you-know-who. They even had an issue with Amazon's store because it had the same name.

When you click on the settings it says "apps" or "my apps" it was there.

Apps is still there on Play it's exactly the same except for the name and icon of Market

It was not "app" it was "App Store™" and "Amazon Appstore"!

Bit off topic, but does anyone of the apk for Play Music? I hear that it's fairly different to the stock player, well and I can't get it here in Germany.

EDIT: NVM, market enabler does the trick

To receive it, just clean market cache (only cache is enough), reboot, open market (wait a bit,in background it should download the update), exit, reopen and bam you will receive the play store...its confirmed to work

i meant mine old market, automatically updated to this earlier today

I didn't realize that, I figured they were rolling this out slowly. At the time I posted this I was using the new FC05 leak and my market hadn't updated.

don't know how to open Market or something I think. Seriously, that's all that's required. Though, I can see the use in having an apk around (UI modification and whatnot)

At first it didn't work for me either, I cleared the data twice and then went through Google music and hit the button to go to the market and it let me update

The new icon? I like it.
But, most importantly, with the new market there is a small buy very nice section of apps for $.49.
Like Dead Space. Or Osmos. SwiftKeyX.

Hello guys, I just flashed a new rom, but now have no marketplace? Anyone got a link where I could download it please? I've had a look on Google but found nothing. Thanks in advance

get luckypatcher, patch play store so its unrestricted and it will show all the apps in the market not just what tmobile wants you to buy or what google thinks is right

I tried the lucky patcher and it worked great but the Play Store is saying "item not found". I had the game page saved in my Play Store wishlist hence the only way i can find it. Any suggestions?

oh i dont know than, i know theres another way to get it but its not allowed to be talked about in this forum because of "warez" but yeah thats the only other way i know
