Hi,
It's a great app, but it doesn't work in the Sony 2011 lineup. Sony disables wifi direct in the ICS ROMS so there is no option to turn it on

Some mode
Any idea

It might be enabled in CM9 and CM10, seen as they are built from the original code and not using Sonys code as a base......
Anyone still on GB Or using CM
Give a try

Won't work on GB

hi mangemayur,
I'm WiFi Shoot developer, sorry to disappoint you, but if the market is not allowing you to download it's because it will not work on your device.
It's filtering to only allow on devices with ICS or up (it needs the ICS WiFi Direct APIs to work) and that do have WiFi direct (duh).
Without those APIs and hardware driver the app WILL fail. It's not a matter of giving a try, it will fail for sure!!
If some ROM developer built WiFi Direct on its ROM and the market still does not accept, you should complain with the developer as he did not properly declare the device capabilities for market access.
regards,
Budius

I've always used a free program (for outlook sync) that has a build in screenshot feature, it's called MyPhoneExplorer, but i dunno for sure if this also works for unrooted phone (on the site it says it should).

Get flashtool and upgrade to 2.3.4 using the world generic firmware

I don't think is possible to use any blur features as you wouldn't be able to connect to the server as your phone wouldn't be recognised as a motoblur phone(i think) However if you want to track your phone there are lot of free/paid apps on the play store for that like wheresmyandroid, lost phone etc.....

man tha would be awesome!!!!!!! defy whit ICS +Blur
is there any way to run only mobile tracking service of motoblur? maybe developers will make this possible.
maybe Walter79 will try to port some CM7 features to his MS2Ginger, because there is no blurred version of CM...
Not sure if it's a motoblur problem
I don't think it's a motoblur interface related problem. It is an app still, that meaning that if someone would port it and you install it, then it might work. It's just a phone tracer like lookout or cerberus.

Hi,
The smartwatch used to work perfectly on GB on Sony arc s, but
after the updating to ICS it does not work.
I downloaded the smartwatch app from store and connected with the watch and i see the list of apps like:
messaging
download it and install
email
download it and install
calendar reminder
download it and install
...
After the downloading it is still the same and does not work.
the watch says:
No applications active in Smartwatch
I have reset everything several times but this is the same...
The new events app can't switch on.... :S
Any Idea?
Thanks a lot in advance

thanks,
what are the version of your liveware and smartwatch apps?
Same problem, xperia ray with official stock ICS 4.0.3. Liveware manager version 3.2.7, if i try to upgrade to 3.2.8 I get the following error:
"Package file was not signed correctly. You will need to remove and reinstall the application to resolve this error."
Do you have smartwatch? Are u in the UK?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
Yes, I have the smartwatch. I'm Italian.
What are the version of your liveware? 3.2.7 or 3.2.8?
And the watch is working for you?
I have the x.x.7 liveware and there is an update available on market which is the x.x.8 but I can't update it because of the error message what I have posted...
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
No, I have your same problem
So you can't use your watch can you?
Sent from my LT18i using XDA
I've always written on the screen "No applications active in Smartwatch"
yes, totally the same for me...
I hope the updating is on the way....
The reply of the Sony chat support:
"This issue is currently being investigated as it seems to be affecting a number of users at the moment. Unfortunately there is no way to overcome this currently but we should have a resolution in the near future."
I solved!!!!
The problem is the version of the liveware manager, 3.2.7 does not work.
I downloaded the 3.2.8 apk, replaced in system/app with rootexplorer (the smartphone must be root), rebooted and installed the new apk 3.2.8.
Very good, thank for sharing this info. Today I try to go to the Sony repair center and I'll inform you guys...

I was a regular user on my sensation (on GB) but now when i shifted to ICS, there are some shutdown problems related to OS i suppose...

bad samsung...
going to block S voice on other devices by connecting to a server wich will block s voice without any coe of galaxy-s3 in it...
maybe there comes a workaround, but it looks like it doesn't work any more..
The S-Voice APK, which contained services that were exclusive to the Galaxy S III, allowed owners of other Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphones to install Samsung’s new voice assistant (its Siri rival) and perform commands on their devices.
It appears that in the last 24 hours, Samsung (and it’s partner Vlingo, the technology behind the voice functions) have begun detecting requests from non-supported devices and blocking them, displaying the message: ”Network Error. Please Try Again.”
Click to collapse
By sending a string of data that identifies the device generating the requests, Vlingo can proactively block any device that shouldn’t have access to S-Voice. However, this does mean that it could be possible to spoof the device ID of an unsupported device, fooling Vlingo into processing requests again.
