[ROM][LEAK] Stock Deodexed T999UVDLI8 + Root

LEAK T-Mobile T999UVDLI8 Rom with the following:
~ STOCK
~ Insecure Kernel
~ Completely deodexed
~ Rooted with SuperSU
~ Zipaligned
~ Busybox
~ CIQ stuff removed
~ init.d Support
Bloat can be removed, but I'll leave it to the user.
If you lose root just re-root with SuperSU...
Its uploading... When its finished you will be able to download...

I'm about to... just flashed three in the past two days... sucks backing up and restoring everything.... LOL but will flash in about twenty minutes and report back.

it does suck but thats the price of testing roms. to see which one you like better. which one has what you want and need or the fix you seek

I'm just gonna dirty flash first and see if blue Flicker and Camera Audio issue is till around. If all is still messed up... Wipe then flash.......

Anyway you can post the zip for the 5x5 mod launcher you have in x14?

I haven't had a chance to run tis deodexed one yet, but ive been on LI8 since it dropped around midnight and it has seemed quite good so far! Only 2 issues ive seen are cam audio and bootup anim and sound dont line up with each other. Otherwise no flickering, stuttering, hesitating, etc.
Wildchld is the man! Looking forward to messing with this one later!

Quadrant hit 6000 on this stock kernel, without needing ktoonz for overclock.
Despite the possibility of being manipulated, that is still pretty impressive. 2.1ghz destroys my battery otherwise to reach 6000+.

That's even smaller than I would expect the slimmest rom to be, imho. Little leery. Not that I'm doubting you, lol. Anyone that does try-be sure to nandroid first,natch. I'm at work and can't try it yet. I must admit, I'm very curious to try!

My original SpaceROM had v6 running on it! This is just my first Jellybean update! THERE WILL BE MANY MORE TO COME!!! I will try and add V6 supercharger and i am adding the OC/UV Kernel also!

lol. Its 100% safe to flash to your device! Just make sure you follow the Flashing instructions very carefully because that is how i flashed it to my device!

So who's going for it first?

1st of all, allow me to say Thank You for sharing your work. Does "FULLY FUNCTIONAL" mean the bluetooth is working as intended on calls and audio streaming? What about SOD & RR?

Wow i can't believe it! The Radio of Skyrocket that i ported to this device actually made it use LTE network! I had no idea that this phone could use LTE! AWESOME! I just like maxed out this ROM!

[ROM] Tweaked Telus SGH-T989D Stock, Rooted

Most Roms I've found here are based on T-Mobile base and work great but I've been longing for a tweaked Telus-based Rom for my T989D. The result was the following Rom:
-Removed Touchwiz Launcher and replaced with Apex Launcher
-Numerous tweaks to build.prop
-Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned
-Busybox
-Numerous init.d scripts
-CPU Sleeper Script (Thanks to eugene373)
-Google Now (Thanks to cajunflavoredbob)
I will be slowly evolving this as I learn more about Rom making and get a chance to talk to some more experienced devs (such as 14-toggle, etc.).

Personally, I haven't really studied the difference between the two versions. I do find that the Telus base is more stable on my T989D though.

Completely understandable, the truth is I put this up to speed up the learning process through criticism and advice . Yes it is rooted, I will update the description.

For now, I am running stock Telus Rom. I rooted my phone, and flashed TWRP 2.2.2 Recovery. There are so many ROMs for this phone I have a problem choosing the right one But I will definitely be waiting for this one!

Thank you that's very generous. I'm afraid the hubs aren't included, however, it would be a simple matter of adding the apk to the system/app since I have not messed around with the framework that makes the Samsung apps work.

I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. I made ButterSmooth ROM for the Sprint Galaxy SIII and when I saw the JB leak for the Epic Touch, I couldnt help myself, I just had to spread the ButterSmooth goodness. My friend also volunteered to be one of my testers, so thats good!

Ok. So here's the deal. Yes, Droidmodder was using _dan's work without permission or credit. But since _dan is a good guy and helpful member, he has allowed Droidmodder to use his rom as a base. Provided he make a few changes. (That is what the Spirit of XDA is about.) It looks and sounds to me that DroidModder is learning and there is no reason to deter an up and coming developer, we just need to make sure the developers do it the correct way. (That's why I'm here!) I have spoken with Droidmodder and _dan personally and this is the way we will go.
So in closing, I want to say that we need to keep this thread clean of any remnants of what was happening in here previously. It's done and over with, he has learned, let's move on. Thank you!
Also would like to give a shout-out to Rwilco12 for helping out around here with so much!!

Its deodexed. Thats why rom devs and cooks or users can use this to modify it into custom ROM.
Use root explorer tool and take a peek or 7zip. Or double click the zip file in linux ubuntu etc.

And yes stock tmo kernel no radio
Kernel is insecure which is same thing just better.

Thats in reference to the lock screen only.
While screen is locked the water drop sound is replaced by a nexus 4 .ogg inside of the systemui
other than that you want to know where the drop sound is?
System/Media/audio/ui/xxxtouch.ogg there are two of them in there tw-touch and s-hw-touch. They are both water drop sounds

Rushing, I flashed the IQ removed version, and know I want the ripple effect one (wife's phone, so I don't want to reflash cause I already updated all apps etc. etc)
If I want to change it, should I download the ROM with the ripple effect, and make a flashable for only the framework-res.apk, or there is something else I should do.
If you have the flash.zip for that mod (that includes the tethering IQ and ripple)

BDW, the ROM is working great. I installed others first but those still need some time to iron the mods they are getting into it, so I would rather stay in the safe side for now, until the others ROMs mature a bit.

Cool its always good to have a stock phone. then upgrade so you actually know/see what's upgraded
