[Q] Help regarding on USR[ultimatesonicromv3]

Hi, I've install USR rom after that, Im stuck on Samsung logo.. why? ive revert to stock dxle1 then try to install again.. same result.. :|
Need some advice/help. thank you very much

did you follow installation instructions as posted? same thing happened to me until i saw that i was suppose to do a wipe data and clear cache partition from stock recovery after installing the rom from cwm

ohh.. wipe data and clear cache partition from stock recovery. then install the rom using cwm.
i followed this steps
Instructions:
-Boot to cwm
-Do full data wipe and cache
-Install rom
-Wait till succesed(dont reboot)
-Choose advanced
-Chosse reboot recovery
-Do data wipe cache again then --reboot system
-Wait till u see the android logo -turnoff phone
-Enter recovery/cwm apply updatefx{icsblack}
but i got stuck on "-Do data wipe cache again then --reboot system" part. im stuck on samsung logo

Hi there , heres the step that u all probably forgot
After instalation rom from cwm recovry , go to
Advance / boot to recovry
And do wipe data and cache and then reboot bcoz if u strigthly reboot from cwm recovry after rom instalation im sure u will get bootlop , trust me .
Wait about 10 minute if u all do that tut carefuly im sure u will enjoy the rom

The rom is awesome . mine has 10-12 hour batry life with full internet . you can just use no frill app in the rom that have been add by evanlocked . And try this setting
Max : 624 mhz
Min : 312 mhz
Gavernor : interactive (optional you can explore it by ur self , use ondemand just if u wona play a game)
I / o : sio
Aply on boot : yes
And u can use the droidwall app to control ur intrnet conection coz this will degrease your data biling and btry live

yup,, those are the instructions i followed... yeah rom is good. scored higher in benchmark than when i was on repencis but i flashed back to repencis though... i dont know why but somehow i just prefer repencis but its still your own choice on what rom you want. i just give my opinion that i prefer repencis
edit: wait its intall rom from cwm 1st then wipe data and cache from stock recovery

Android logo means when phone gets boot up and then the setup wizard is come this is the logo in your screen is android logo. Not the logo is android logo like ^samsung galaxy y young s5360^
1. Do data wipe in stock
2. Go to cwm
3. Data wipe
4. Cache wipe
5. Install rom
6. Advance in cwm
7. Go stock recovery
8. Data wipe
9. Reboot
10. Setup widget (android logo with hand direction)
11. Switchoff
12. Go cwm not stock recovery
13. Flash update
14. Dont do data wipe just reboot.
15. Done

Edit: btw you cant remove the stock mms.apk otherwise you wont be able to recieve messages.. just change the icon of go sms

Helo.. i have question about gio.. before want to flash custom rom.. need to flash superuser and cwm right?? if only flash superuser, can? sorry my bad english and stupid question.. i'm tired how to solve my problem camera, everytime i flash custom rom.. i wanna flash xperiatized on my gio.. what i wanna do before flash?? wipe data only??

You have to flash CWM first. After that you have to wipe everything (data, cache, maybe dalvik-cache) and then you have to install your ROM.
If you was on Stock before you have to wipe everything again.
Now you can reboot and enjoy your rom.
PS: There's no need to flash Superuser.

i don't know what cwm version i need to flash?? 5.0.2.6 or 5.0.2.8? means? wipe data/format?? wipe [email protected] cache?? at mount and storage?? wipe dalvik at advanced?? because, i tried to flash custom rom.. i'm asian people.. i'm using stock DXKT8.. samsung galaxy gio GT-S5660..

Just in the way you flashed [email protected] Rom. Make a backup, wipe data/cache/dalvik cache in recovery(it would be better to wipe system too), then flash it. It also depends on which Rom you are going to use, read the original post carefully.

depends on what rom you want to go for.
If you are trying to go for any custom roms based on CM9/10 then you will need to flash the supporting kernel first.
then go to CWM:
wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition,
Go to mount and storage
wipe system, wipe data, wipe cache
Go to advanced
wipe dalvik cache.
Then flash the zip for a clean install.
If you want to flash stock based rom then you don't need to flash kernel. (*if Dual core Rom is based on Stock rom only. I don't know which kernel it uses)

Simple
First of all u cant install cm10 in locked bootloader. If ur bootloader is unlocked and u have a cwm installed means go ahead
Copy the latest cm10 and the gapps to ur internel storage
Boot ur phone into cwm recovery. For this switch off ur phone and on it. At the same time press the volume up button continuesly. And u will enter to cwm
Do this..
Wipe data / factory reset
Wipe cache
Go to advanced / and clear dalvik cache
Then choose install zip from sd card
Install it
After that install gapps.
Again wipe cache and dalvik cache
Reboot ur phone. Done

[Complete Noob Needs Help]How to change custom ROM

Hey brothers i am using OmniRom on my galaxy grand duos 19082 and i want to change my ROM to Ressurection Remix now, so do i need to remove backup or anything? please give enlightment or something

1.go to recovery.
2 . take backup of your current rom (if anything goes wrong u can restore it).
3.wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery...
4 . install rom and install gapps...
5.if u are facing any lags then go to recovery and select wipe Data factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache... And reboot...
6.in most of the case no need to wipe. Data but if u are willing to do so then do it otherwise I always do like this any never faced and lags...
