[Q] Purchasing question - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi,
I'm about to buy a new Android smartphone, since my HD2 digitizer is dying once again.
My choice falls on either a Samsung Galaxy Nexus or Samsung Galaxy S2.
I'm just wondering if someone can help me in understanding any flaws/issues that has been encountered with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus; what about the battery, the digitizer? The lack of an SD slot is a limitation? ...anything else?
Are you satisfied with the phone? please be sincere.
Thank you in advance.
regards

[Q] Cracked Sensation --> Galaxy Nexus upgrade?

I have a Sensation that I love, the screen is cracked but usable.
I'm wondering if you guys think it'd be a good upgrade right now to get the Galaxy Nexus (unlocked for $349) or if I should wait until the fall for something else.
I don't love the HUGE screened phones out there (S3, etc) so this is a nice size but i'm wondering what you all think
thanks!
Take a look at this thread.

-> Galaxy Nexus vs. Galaxy S3 in term of usage longivity <-

Hey guys
So currently I'm using a Gnex w/ a minor crack in the screen. I am honestly thinking of upgrading to the S3 due to a opportunity.
However, since the Gnex is from google compared to S3 from samsung, I know the Gnex will get more support apps and ROM wise. right?
Also, I don't really like to upgrade too often... so would switching to S3 be a smart move? since I heard the new google phone might come out w/ android 5.0
In terms of longevity, which phone should I stick with? in terms of support, accessories and that I won't feel it's outdated
Cheers in advance
go to galaxy s2 forum and see how much development is there. S3 also like S2 is very very popular even being this new.

yes I know the S2 was very popular
but would google's flagship phone be even more?
The only real android experience is nexus.

Some advice

Hello all. I'm currently using a Galaxy S3, having bought it aftwe selling my Note. Seriously considering buying a Note 2, and would ideally like to hear from someone who has changed from an S3 to the Note 2. I have kinda got used to the size of my S3 after initially thinking it seemed very small. I do miss the Note however, even bought a nexus 7 to try and compensate, but it's just not the same.
Any advice, comments or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] New Galaxy S2 questions

Can anyone help me out here?
I am looking at getting a Galaxy S2 for my little bro with T-mobile. He is not really big on apps and doesn't care much about Specs really. Just something that has reasonably good call quality, he can text on and download apps on when needed.
It is either this Galaxy S2(which is like 2 years old) or the new Galaxy S Light that is a midrange T-mobile phone that just came out.
IS this still a good buy? It's currently going for free on T-mobile so i was just curious.
Are there any glaring issues with the Galaxy S2?
