Are you guys rooted because thats been out for a while now.. My phone capacitive lights blink when I have a text, missed call or email...
Edit: I see you are new to xda but now sure if you lurked prior... this is a great site with alot of great developers and ideas floating around. Do yourself a favor and search more than just here but other sub-forums as well like Android General. There are apps called BLn notification that do what you need as well as AOKP or CM(/10 which have this capability.
Do you see my sig' you got to remember to do that whenever you want to know about something

See how easy that was.....lol Remember guys google is your friend
I have searched and came up with nothing. This was a while back so something might of changed. The issues with xda search on a mobile phone sucks. I want the flash because at work it very noisy and seeing the flash from a distance would be better than dull lights on bottom of phone.
Edit. I just saw the other post. Giving it a try.

The thing is most people assume they need to search xda to find something on xda but in reality I go to google and put in what I want to search on xda but just add xda to the end of it... ex: "use camera as notification xda" then hit search from google and check out the results. That is how I find everything
Hey hope I helped you and the OP was a good sport thanking me twice after clicking the link specially made for the both of you....

are you TB'ing apps back w/ data? or does this actually happen on a clean flash?

Hey does any of you guys know how do I turn off the warning when I turn the volume up? It's getting quite annoying.. thanks in advance.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
The volume warring is a horrible feature, I'm trying to think of why it needs to popup every time. This must have been included for liability reasons.
My problem is that my headphones don't exactly sit close to ear with my helmet on, so they're too quite. Then I can't always grab my phone and close out the warning while I'm riding.
The only solution I've found for this problem is to install a different rom, I am using ReVolt right now. You can disable the warning in the sound settings.
I also would like to know. I want to disable the toast after setting an app as default as well. It's super annoying.

This one's done. WOrking on the toast volume thing.
If you're rooted, you can try Xposed Framework. It's the best. Not only can you remove the warning, there is so much more to customize.

Bleh, TouchJiz is affecting the volume steps mod. Go listen to music, and start the volume at low, and slowly increment the volume up to max one step at a time. It will get louder then go back to really quite, and then get louder again

Thanks for making this program.
It didn't fix the issue I was having --- On M919 Tmobile ROMs, the soft keys come on any time you touch the screen. I had an l337M and the keys only come on when you touch them. Is there any way to restore this functionality? I hate having to choose between keeping them on all the time, or off... I know what you're saying, but that's the default behaviour on the l337M's (At least on Rogers). I read some reviews where someone mentioned the same thing... I don't mind it though. It's better then having them on all the time.

Ok root did the trick.
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for, thanks! I am running stock 4.3 Google Ed. on my AT&T S4 and wanted to use the onscreen nav buttons mod. The onscreen button build.prop mod worked well, but it was annoying have the capacative lights still light up when I tapped the onscreen buttons.
Would anyone happen to know how to disable them completely?

Thanks!! Greatly appreciated!
And to disable the buttons completely, there is a file under /system/usr/keylayout
That needs editing. Can't remember which one exactly. A lot of people actually remap them to other functions to get more use out of them.

I upgraded to the note 4 from the note 2 and i love it. But the one feature i use as much as i can is the ultra contrast mode that kicks in automatically while in sunlight. I know most hate it...but i fly a phantom 2 and i use my phone for live video feed.
So my question is this. Is there an app or setting to make that function turn on and off when i choose too. It does kick on by itself when in sunlight...but not always. I would love it if i can turn it on myself though manually. I have googled a lot to see and haven't found anything yet...so i thought about asking here.
Anyone? I spent about an hour today looking and nothing
You HAVE to post some video of that!
Q did you get a sticker saying 'texting and flying. it can wait'?

As for OP's question, I would like to know as well. I wonder why they let us dim the screen ultra-low but not turn it up to the ultra settings.

OH. Reading fail. Haha. Yes a video of him flying would be awesome.
I thought you were asking about the brightness feature since a lot of people didn't know about it according to the other thread. My bad.

How do you use your phone as for FPV feed?
I never changed a setting for it but mine automatically does it in bright sunlight.
I love the feature personally
