Hello dear friends. I have been trying to figure this out for a few days now and nothing has worked. I'm on CREDO service, which is on Sprint network. I have been unable to send MMS (all other data usage is normal) since I flashed to ICS from my original out-of-box stock ROM. I have since gone to CM9, nothing changed. I have tried Sprint's APNs, Credo's APNs, etc. I have even tried deleting all APNs with APNBackupAndRestore... the result was that I could still access internet and send SMS. Currently I'm on Gingerbread EK02. There has been no difference between stock messaging app and handcent.
This whole thing is an enigma. Please help any way you can. I'm open to trying everything.

I would like to be able to run cm9 AND send mms. That's what I'd really like. If I can get MMS working, i'd settle for gingerbread. If MMS is just permanently trashed, I'm gonna go back to cm9.

Changing the MMS server setting on Sense is pretty easy and straight forward but I've yet to figure out how to get it working on AOSP.
I've searched everywhere and tried every setting available and I still can only receive pictures but not send them. I've tried editing the APN's through the voice command, I've tried apps from the market and no matter what settings I try, I can't send a MMS message.
Has anyone been able to figure out how to do this without using a 3rd part SMS app?
people have claimed to of been able to get it working with apn restoring but I've only been able to get it working with go messenger
they claimed if you backed up the apn settings in a Sense ROM and restored that same backup in an AOSP ROM the default messanging client would work with mms, I never got it to work.
Hey guys, I just got my phone back from Samsung from being repaired. I update profile and PRL, then flashed to Ktoonsez & whoever's AOKP ROM that I was running before it broke. I then installed the KT747 kernel and everything else I use for my phone.
However, even though I can receive MMS/group messages/everything, when I try to send a group message, picture mail, etc. it says sending and never sends, no matter the connection.
Any ideas on what to do? I used to not be able to send when on wifi only, which honestly I don't care about, but now I can't send on anything.

Anyone else experiencing this??? I tried to get in touch with Sprint but they can't figure it out. I even flashed to bare bone stock MD4 and it still wouldn't work.

I posted thise in the Fixed MMS thread:
"Boy am I glad we have the ability to edit these things ourselves!
I fixed my issue by going into the APN settings menu, only accessible on my ROM apparently through Nova's activitie's widgets, and then creating a new one myself with all the correct settings. The only difference when looking at the "APN2 LTE internet" and "Sprint" (my custom) ones are the names and the Authentication Type. I set the authentication type to PAP or CHAP on mine, which doesn't seem to be set on any of the four already there before creating mine.
To users with MMS still not working: try setting Authentication type to PAP or CHAP in APN settings."
I've searched and searched the forums, but I can't seem to find a solid fix for my mms issue. I'm on the Boost Mobile epic 4g touch, running cm11 (Villuminati). I've done everything the threads suggest: on ICS modem, changed APN settings manually, tried Textra and GOSms, but I still can't send or receive mms messages. My 3g is working fine and I can connect to the internet that way, but I can't figure out what's up with mms.
Any ideas? Thank you.
Alright, here's my story, after switching from Sense to CM11 when I first got my HTC One a few months ago things were working alright, then at some point I lost the ability to send or receive mms messages. I looked online and found that there were a few people with the same problem, most said the problem had to do with the apn settings, the solution to was either modified apn settings or using an alternate messaging program, such as 8sms.
Anyways, I tried several different apn setups to try and get my mms back, my LTE internet worked, but no mms. Eventually I found a setup that allowed me to send a mms to someone, but not receive one. I figured that was a good as I was going to get it.
After a few OTA nightly updates I decided to tinker with the apn settings again; my hope being that one of the new nightlies would have fixed the problem if I restored my apn settings to default. This didn't help and cost me the ability to even send mms. Needless to say I scoured the web to find usable apn settings again (I prefer to use the stock messaging app), eventually I ended up Frankensteining several together and found a solution that allowed for me to send and receive mms, as well as my LTE internet!:laugh::laugh:
[TL/DR]
Found APN settings that enable sending and receiving mms, as well as LTE internet (with a lte subscription, it's not a hack or anything).

I'm on the cm11 nightlies for m7vzw and did this and still can't send MMS. any ideas?
My text messaging started acting weird lately; all of a sudden I was getting late messages, or multiples of one message. And then I wasn't getting any texts at all. This was while I was on Definitive rom, and had not changed any settings or my messaging app (chomp) for a good month beforehand. So I decided to flash FireKat for the DE, and it seems to have worked, but I wanted to set the settings for MMS as suggested in chomp, and I find that the Access Point for Verizon is un-editable. I tried editing the build.prop as suggested for the Note 2--obviously, it didn't work, I lost my Access Points entirely, and my network went to hell--and after a reflash, I'm back to where I started. Does anyone have any idea how to edit access points on the DE?
