[Q] Is it possible to Recover my DInc?

I hope someone in this community is able to help. I've already been scouring Google this morning for people with a similar issue and haven't been successful in getting my phone to come back so I suspect there may be a hardware issue.
Here's a summary of the problem:
My phone shutdown this morning while I was listening to a podcast. It got stuck in a boot loop at the splash screen, constantly rebooting itself. A battery pull would not solve the problem. I was able to get it into HBOOT (version 0.92) but when I tried going into recovery from there, It got stuck on the splash screen (no looping). Before all this I had been running Nils Business Gingersense for quite a while and things were working fine, in case anyone needs that detail.
After failing to boot to recovery, here are some of the things I have tried to fix this issue:
1. Factory reset in HBOOT
2. Flashed RUU 2.2 and then tried RUU 2.3.4 through HBOOT. Though neither of these would get the phone to come up, the splash screen reboots stopped and the phone just freezes in splash screen now (over 30 minutes with no change).
3. Tried to reflash CWM 5.0.2.0 through Fastboot. Although the phone is recognized by 'fastboot device', it says 'remote: not allowed' when try to flash the .IMG file.
4. Tried to flash an older CWM recovery from when I originally rooted my phone --same 'not allowed' error
5. Ran the official RUU for Froyo on my PC and it looked promising but I never got past the splash screen afterward a reboot.
6. I don't know a ton about ADB but ADB does not recognize my device even though Fastboot does.
At this point I'm not sure what else to try. It seems promising that I can get into HBOOT and that Fastboot will recognize my phone but what can I do with that now?
Thanks for any ideas you might have.
Have you tried flashing cwm thru hboot as a PB31IMG.zip? http://dinc.does-it.net/Recoveries/CWM_5.0.2.0/PB31IMG.zip. If that dosent work you could try to update hboot to 1.02 and htcdev unlock it. This will allow extended fastboot commands. You can do this on the htcdev website. Or you could downgrade hboot to the 0.77 engineering bootloader http://dinc.does-it.net/Hboots/ENG_Hboot_0.77/PB31IMG.zip which basicly does the same thing, and might be a better option than upgrading. You are s-off right?
Yes, I still have S-OFF. I did try flashing several recoveries through hboot and they all acted like they updated fine but I wasn't able to boot into any of them because I kept getting frozen at the white screen after choosing recovery from hboot. I will try another hboot and see if that makes any difference. Thanks.
Cmlusco, I tried the CWM version you posted with hboot .92 and .77 but had no luck. I also tried walking through the hboot upgrade steps on the htcdev site but I couldn't get the RUU exe to find my phone. This is odd because an older RUU found the phone just fine earlier today.

I am having a huge list of problems...

I'll try to keep my post short since a full summary would take forever.
I rooted my HTC One X about a week ago and installed a nightly of CyanogenMod 10. It was fun for a while but I started to notice the ROM was unstable, causing issues with battery life and freezing. So I wiped it and tried to do a restore to the backup I made just after rooting. But it didn't work. I ended up stuck in a bootloop and panicked. So I went to the same guy that showed me how to root my phone and found a video from him on how to UNROOT/UNBRICK it to get it working again. Also: had to edit out the links to the videos I used because I have less than ten posts. But his videos are stamped with AndroidRoot.
I got my bootloader relocked with no problem. But whenever I tried to use the RUU file he gave me to get HTC back on there it wouldn't work. I spent hours trying everything I could think of. I kept getting Error 155 and it would get stuck on 'Sending' and never get past it. So now I have a phone with a locked bootloader, no OS/interface, no Recovery, or anything of any kind, just my fastboot screen.
So then I gave up on the RUU (and it's the right one last I checked but maybe I'm wrong here) and decided I would just try to reroot it and find a stable ROM. Anything to get it working again. But now I can't get my bootloader unlocked. I'm following the same video as last time, and using the same unlock token that I had and everything. But it keeps failing to send the unlock token, or else it just gets stuck on 'Sending Unlock Token' in the command prompt.
Please help me I miss my phone.
EDIT: Now, after trying to use my unlock token, the RUU isn't working at all. It gets stuck on 'Verifying Android information'. But my bootloader still says it's been relocked.
If you can get into fastboot this should be recoverable. There is a guide to updating at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37777135&postcount=5141 HBOOT that has some useful information. In particular, did you use the right RUU for your CID?
You also need to get the right kernel for the ROM you are installing. Because the HOX is an S-ON device you can only flash the kernel from fastboot mode. The ROM is flashed from recovery mode. All very confusing.

[Q] Frequent Shutdowns

Hello xda !
I've been reading xda over 1 year, its time to write because I stuck
Backstory;
My desire was gone the service about a month ago for a hardware button problem and battery. They've changed the buttons and the battery. They applied RUU of course. After I get my phone back I rooted immediaty and after 3 weeks I changed my rom to a cm 10.1 jb rom then my problem has started with in 2 days. I send phone to service again and they left it out of warranty and gave me a screenshot. ( Attachment )
The problem is ;
Phone shutting himself down frequently, after I powered on I usally uses it for 1 - 2 hours then shuts him down again and it's getting quickier. I tried to reflash hboot, reflash rom, RUU.. At least I'm trying alpharev downgrade then RUU again.
( I looked at the bortak's troubleshooting guide, nothing happened )
Hints ;
- Sometimes (after power-on) phone gaves me " No Service " message, its not the "searching network" message, its like " there is no sim-card"
- Phone reboots when its plugged to charger. ( not shutdown )
The ruu failed on "system" because u cant flash an ruu over the CM7r2 hboot. System partition is to small. The ruu needs the stock hboot (250mb system)
I used alpharev downgrader and tried temp/rom.zip as a PB99IMG (hboot_8x50_0.83.0001_1_20100610, android-info) and Im stuck at the hboot screen, there is no rom i guess.
I can use fastboot but not recovery. When I pressed the recovery, I get a big red exclamation mark. I tried RUU throught fastboot but I get Error 140 (bootloader version error)
I got hboot 0.83 and S-ON now.
What I can do from there ?
And is there any way to S-OFF through fastboot? Because no adb, recovery or boot; only fastboot and S-ON with 0.83 actually the last phrase is my problem.
Flash the 2.3 ruu in my sig through the pb99img method, then proceed to s-off with revolutionary.

Need some help over here!

Well, like two days ago I got the Lollipop update, and when I tried to install it, it showed me some problems, looking in this forum, I tried changing my recovery to TWRP, that should solve this prob, tried also editing the updater script (went okay with the finger print, but then It gave me some "bluetooth.apk" problems checking and I don't want to go furher of editing that, cause I don't really know if that could brik my device or what... Bunch of things that didn't help me.
After some looking, I got that I should install a RUU for my device, Relocking my bootloader, flashing stock recovery and unrooting, but I got some problems here, first one, I need a RUU for 1.60.75.2 for a5_ul, which I can't find, and second problem, I already relocked bootloader, but I can't take it back to unlocked and a **System Warning**, adding to a **Tampered** sign appears In my HBoot screen, also SuperSU keeps appearing In my app grid after going through full unroot option, any idea of what is the problem and how could I solve this to get the update?
Sorry if I can't explain it that well in eng
-Edit:
**System Waring** no longer appears on the HBoot and when I try to flash the update recovery, I get this: <bootloader> signature checking...
FAILED <remote: signature verify fail>
-New edit! I finally got it, for everybody with the same problem as mine, just download the OTA from the phone and unzip it, in the firmware.zip, you'll find a recovery.img. First of all, unroot your device with SuperSU option, turn off the phone and flash that recovery you found and after that, just install the OTA from the phone, It will reboot and start installing the update (it takes a long time lol) , and that's all, enjoy Lollipop!

'Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped' after trying to return to stock

Hello,
need a lot of help trying to get my EU HTC 10 working again.
Im very new with this kind of stuff and have obviously messed something up on my device. I was running LeeDroid on my HTC 10, (bootloader unlocked, twrp recovery installed), however i wanted to return to stock and followed guides on xda.
I flashed a twrp recovery backup and rebooted my device, i then flashed stock recovery and re-locked the bootloader. After rebooting my device again a message pops up onto the screen saying 'unfortunately setup wizard has stopped'. I cannot get past this message and do not have twrp installed anymore to re-flash any rom, and do not have usb debugging enabled in settings and cant enable as i cant get into device.
I have tried using an RUU.exe to restore phone how ever the installer give me error 170 (device not detected). I have also tried to ruu.zip from my sd card however i get error '19 RU-MAIN-VER-FAIL os-version in android-info missing or i'.
anyone have any ideas on how to proceed.
Thank you!

I've never wanted to return to stock, especially after running leedroid. So not 100% but have you tried a factory reset?
