[Q] where must I download Stock Rom for software number 1.29.111.11

Hi all
I'm using HTC OneX in Myanmar
my phone's software number is 1.29.111.11
now I'm using ViperX 2.0.2
I want to download Stock Rom for my phone
so please help to me
where must I download Stock Rom for software number 1.29.111.11
actually I want to OTA update from HTC
if I change to Stock Rom, can I get OTA update again?
if not yet, how should I do.

you can't go back to stock cause the JB RUUs aren't yet available, the only way you can go back is by flashing a nandroid backup...if you don't have it ask someone that has your exact CID if he could provide one to you

now you're on JB right? in that case you can't downgrade... but you can install ICS roms, take a look here

Looks like the RUU hasn't been released.
Somewhere there is a guide on how to download an older RUU (like 1.28.111.x in your case) and flash it chevRON and boot.ing from it, then, hopefully you can OTA back to 1.29, or maybe find the OTA and convince it to install.

Yes you can . Just go back to stock and you'll get the OTA update .
You can refer to this video to go back to stock .
If you want to just update your hboot and flash JB custom ROMs , follow this link .

if you update the HBOOT you won't be able to downgrade it

And if I go back stock and get JB OTA for One X.. Will my Hboot remain same..?

For the firmware to update hboot... HTC__621 is not mentioned... Also ARHD treats HTC__621 as hboot 1.33... Its confusing to me. Any help with the noob kinda guide.

I think you misunderstood his question (or probably I did):
updating with firmware.zip will update your hboot to 1.33
if you go back stock and flash OTA jellybean your Hboot will also update to 1.33 (Then you can flash ARHD JB or any other Custom Sense rom)

if you install a certain firmware it will change your hboot, then if you go back to stock and you update again you hboot will upgrade another time or it will stay the same... don't know if i explained myself

Depends on the RUU version you're flashing .

The second link leads you to the firmware.zip that upgrades youre hboot to 1.33 . download it and follow the first guide to flash the firmware and the ARHD ROM

Problem going back to stock

Hit guys,
i have a problem
I have a ONE X from cid Vodap_102.
I have downloader both 1.29 and 2.17 ruu for going back to stock but when i try it says error on bootloader.
I think the problem is that i have 1.36
Vodafone didn't release a RUU for 3.14 so i don't know how to do.
Any advice? Have you got some clean backup to sent to me? (Vodap 102 cid)

Please help me send a copy of a RUU.exe like we have on old htcruu website.
I have a HOX version 3.14.161.27 CID VODAP304 and I already try to restore a stock Rom but it has been two error's.
Can you find me this RUU or another stock Rom for my HTC?

probably that RUU will never be available... branded RUU are almost impossible to find, the vodafone ones in particular....

Is you want to go back to stock you can also use the nandroid backup which you had made. If you dont have the back up

My phone was not working . I downloaded an RUU (RUU_Endeavor_U_ICS_40_S_HTC_Europe_2.17.401.2_Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed) from XDA and installed it. the phone worked properly, now i wanted to install Cynogenmod for which I need to update HBoot. When i done an OTA for Jellybean. The update was downloaded succcessfully but giving error upon installation like it is for developer edition etc.
Can anybody please please guide me how to upgrade my HBoot and get rid of this issue for installation of cynogenmod.

You must be complete stock recovery and rom install again the same RUU and take OTA don't install custom recovery
