I think the thread should be changed to "which ROM you like most ?" or sth like this !?
I think we need a best rom for daily use. Too many rom here. Why dont you create a group and make a perfect rom?

trying my friend. I was getting bored with the stock ROM in my device, and the reason why I tried every ROM here enjoyable to modify the device that I have into something new and of course interact with the makers of the ROM (to solve the problem for a custom ROM). I describe this thread like "Where is the 'any' key?"

I'm sure any new ROM makers want the results can be used in the daily work, and everyone here certainly appreciate the feedback and try to work.

Ok, I've looked are and can't find this anywhere. Sorry if its a super noob question, but if I'm running one version of a Rom like bugless v .02 and he comes out with another newer version like .03. Do I have to completely wipe my phone again to upgrade? Or is their another way I can load the new version or switch to a different Rom without having to redownload all my apps again and arrange my whole home screens again?
Thanks for anyone who answers this. You guys are all life savers for all of us newbies.

Generally in the same family if roms you do not need to wipe. If things start acting stupid it may brr necessary to wipe and re flash.
Y canou also buy a program like mybackup pro to ease the reinstall pain.

ALWAYS do a full wipe, unless informed by the dev otherwise. NEVER flash two different ROMS over each other. If you want to look around and get a feel for different ROMS but would hate the headache of flashing a ROM that you didn't like, only to have to flash your go-to ROM after and have to download all your apps and set up everything to your liking all over again, then do a nandroid backup.
always full wipe, less problems later...

I've been exchanging roms on my hero and evo for several years now however, after exchanging my last evo for an new evo,(radio issues), I had to reroot and for whatever reason, I have not found a rom that does exactly what I need it to do.. My biggest thing is ditching the stock camera and having more space to install apps as some of the cooler roms only leave anywhere between 265-398mb to install apps.. any recomendations? Thanks for you input in advance.

first of all you're in the wrong section of the forums, so i'm sure a mod will move this soon, but to help you if you're looking for a stock rom i would recommend Digital Karma and if you want enough memory to store your apps partition your card: 1024mb, 0 swap, ext3 or ext4

Can we not recommend any ROMs at all please? All it does is make others jealous, angry.. etc
Also, welcome to the evo forums
try as many ROMs as you can, there are some very talented people amongst us
I agree with alex, if you are willing to partition your SD card, post a link here of the "cooler" Rom you like and I will modify it for you to meet you app room and camera requirements.

I would recommend my ROM because I believe it is the greatest ROM to have ever been released in the history of all ROM releases.
