I rarely mess with overclocking and such but I think I'm going to underclock and undervolt my phone on AOSP JB. The last time I did was on my OG Epic over a year ago and I think I used Tegrak. What's everybody using these days?

Pegasusq. My under volts are in the pic below. My under clock is 1ghz

Btw I am running cm9 experimental build screamineagles by chris41g with absolutely no problems. No lag at all.

Pegasusq with cm10 also used it with cm 9 and blazer rom using agats 5.4 kernel under clocked to 1 ghz and my battery is amazing
Pegasusq on AOKP underclocked to 1000Mhz and undervolted -50Mv each step.

Who is using the Godmode kernal with a rom? If so, what is the max overclock for you???

Using the godmode kernel I was able to overclock my 0003 hardware EVO to the highest setting allowed. I don't use this kernel anymore so I can't be exact on the numbers.
I tried it for the past 3 days... Set CPU showed it was set to max of 1119 but the actual speed was stopping itself at 998mhz
The kernel itself was decent tho.. already seemed quicker than tiamat or savagedzen, and battery life was much better so I will likely go back.

Haha. Why does everyone say kernal?
Gimme a couple a days to come up with a new sig that is cool.
Because its letting me overclock at the max but when using tiamat I overclocked alot more... Anybody know of a better kernal?

Shouts to Qbking77 for introducing the application Tegrak Overclock to us...and with it I've been able to get my Epic to run stable at 1.496Ghz with 1375v using the Genocide Kernel...id like to ask if anyone has gone any higher than this and still kept the stability of their Epic without any data loss or freezes/lockups?
Sent from my rooted, suited, & booted Epic 4G kno dat!
Wow I thought we couldn't go higher than 1.3 with tegrak, I posted this a couple days ago though here's my thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178436

Yes I am...I was going to flash the updated ACS EF02 ROM untill I found out we're getting a leak tmrw for EG14...but I am wondering how high you can push the 1.3Ghz setting available in the ultimate version of the app?...have you tried it out?

1.3ghz runs good you just need to up the voltages to 1325 or so to be stable but still soft reboots daily so I'm stayin at 1.2ghz for now. Still awesome though

Check out that link, on the setcpu site they break it down for you. Also check out a few of the guides on here, they have it even further in depth talking about which governors are best for what.
Interactive would be the closest to ondemand if its available or interactiveX
I like xtremeperia #5 and would like to experience it with a lulzactive governor or sio and vr schedulers. It would be a whole trip since I experienced the lulzactive on my vibrant and it was omega bigger than interactive and bfq seems the most reliable for video taping.

There's a couple of them for ics and jb. I'm on paranoid android jb with this kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800576
[KERNEL][SPRINT][AOSP/TOUCHWIZ-JELLYBEAN][11/13/2012] KT747-s LJ7 - KTweaker
Lots of choices and I get phenomenal battery (25hrs moderate use is phenomenal for me at least) and great performance. Underclocked to 1080mhz and under volted. She's smooth as silk without lag or stutters.
Hope this helps you. But next time more help can be given if you specify what Rom, kernel, and settings you're supporting on your s3. Just a tip.

I am also running the same kernel and its been working great so far.

Ya the kernel recommended above will get u to 2.1ghz altho i recommend AGAT's kernel here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956392 if youre using touchwiz. It only OC's to 1.89 but the benchmarks are damn impressive. Only time i ever got quadrant benchmark to hit 7000+ on a test.
