Me too. Will take time to get used to it.
An example is the sony stock launcher for example. You have to press menu button to get that little wallpaper widget thing to come up. well you can hold down also. But I have no empty spot on my home screen lol so I got used to menu button. SO I keep going down to the regular button lol.

I know. This is not a regular menu that pop up like say a go launcher. I use Ez Launcher and the Soft menu button is visible on the right.
I might try out a new launcher. I do enjoy Sony's though. My phone has been kinda slow recently opening things like messaging up and no idea why. I think it is just the Sony stuff that is slow

When using app it will need to kind of pass the original lock screen and then go to widget locker or such ... it is kind of why it seems glitchy when you use one but if you flash one it works right away ... I just never liked the way widget locker did

Well, when you install an app, aren't you manually putting files on your phone?
More seriously, an app is just running on top of Android. It has to overide the current locksreen in the operating system and work around it. Otherwise, you're literally changing how the operating system works if you flash something like TSM parts.

perhaps you're right... regardless, every time I've played with it, it seemed laggy. on the Evo4G too.
certainly not new to "configuring" things. things being smoove/seamless is a priority in all of my configurations.
perhaps I'll give it another play today. been a few months since I used it on this phone. perhaps it's been updated...

If you use WidgetLocker, be sure to enable RootHelper in settings and HomeHelper, optionally, and watch the glitches go away. You'll never see your stock lockscreen again.
Another thing you can do, which I used to do on my Evo 4G and 3D (only if you're not using a lockscreen password) is disable the stock lockscreen, and then use ButtonRemapper to make the volume keys NOT wake the phone. That way you 100% will NEVER see your stock lockscreen. When WidgetLocker tells you in the instructions that it's impossible to disable the stock lockscreen and not have all buttons wake the phone, it's bs. For some reason ButtonRemapper doesn't display keys correctly on the GSII, but I think there's a separate GS version that works fine. You can get it on XDA for free.

I believe this is heavily based on CM9 therefore flashing Eugene's kernel is the only way to make that script work unless eugene figured out how to do it without through his kernel X_x. You can test it for us and be guinea pig
hands down coolest thing i have on my phone so far, only bug i found so far is someimes when i send i txt msg it says ' msg not sent ' but 1 second later it goes thru fine without touching....is it just me? i see some people talking about changing themes....there are any other themes? also when it comes to changing the apps dpi...that means the icons or the aplication itself once its lanched? i havent had no sucess changing the apps dpi...but my phone looks damn nice, i just one lear this app dpi thing and wanna know if there are other themes to download
after looking around and asking in the q&a forums i finally found a jelly bean lock screen (all thanks to my boy casonswag who coincidentally posted this on facebook haha)
its a play store app called "holo locker" and its SWEET AND FREE! lol

Can't set any security on it, therefore this is useless to me. But as for functionality, it worked flawlessly on Darkside Evolution v8. Notification drop down did indeed work along with the camera launch.
The only thing I dont like about these lockers is that pressing the home button from the lockscreen unlocks it, I saw an option on this locker to disable that, but it ended up disabling the home button completely

Hi everyone,
Instead of creatin a new thread I decided to use this since it is the same stuff.
The point is, I'm feeling in the last days that my home button it's not responding that well and I'm going to fix it replacing the module. But that's not going to happen soon so I'm a little afraid that it stops working for good.
Right now I'm using CM10, 21 August build from codeworkx, and I need to find a way to turn on the navigation buttons.
Can anyone teach me a way to do this please, or if someone think is easier, can you do it and provide it?
I'm pretty sure there's more people interest in this
Cheers

Hi Guys ,
As the title said, this is basically a new live wallpaper called Water Ripple from Note 2.
I just extracted it from Note 2 and share it to anyone interested. So far had tested this on VikingxRom 7.3 (DLIB) and UltimaROM 3.0 (DLJ1).
To install this Water Ripple Live Wallpaper :
1) Download the zip file below.
2) Backup in case anything goes wrong.
3) Boot into recovery and Wipe cache / Dalviks
4) Flash the zip file in recovery.
5) Done.

It's working great on Omega JB V30 DLJ2
I have some problem tho, first the water flow doesn't follow when I slide it (not like in the lockscreen) and then the image cropper still force me to crop 720x1280 image. And as you know 720x1280 is the standard fit size for vertical non scrolling wallpaper. Is there gonna be a fix for this? Thanks

Not sure why you can't see the screenshot.
Anyway, it works almost like Samsung lockscreen. Screen shows water ripple every few seconds and everytime you touch the screen.

A simple trick: Change your lockscreen wallpaper and restart your phone. Your wallpaper will change also in the right size

help
Is´t anyway to get the original lockscreen back? cuz my phone updated to 4.1 and now the raindrop thing is my standard and i cant change
Not a complaint, but the screenshots are not thumbnails so you can't enlarge to see more details. Anyway, what is the Death Star doing in the second screenshot? How does that relate?

You can change the background to be whatever you want, water colour, deathstar, whatever you like.

Set your homescreen & lockscreen to normal wallpaper. Your lockscreen will change back to original lockscreen.
