Dspmanager, need to set loudness compensation to strongest.
Then use a custom eq and move the bars to +3, +3, +0, +3, +6, +9
That's pretty much all beats is.
use bass boost if you feel it lacks the low end kick but you will lose some high end.
If you want more volume use dynamic range compression but that will increase volume at the cost of quality.

Hi!
I recently became fed up of the HTC stock volume up/down sound and lock/unlock sound. So I made my own sounds, wich I think is more fitting for Android devices. The sounds are not downloaded from anywhere. It is MY sounds and I made them for you all to enjoy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With that said there is a flashable zip for you if you want to try them out, they are really really nice and in a not so distant future I am planing on making an app that can change to any sound you want, not just pre-made once. That method will be recovery free also...
I think it will work for the Desire Z and G2, it is not tested though...
I have also attached the original HTC sounds if you are not fond of mine.
Hope you like the soundpackage
Before I flash u should attch a video of the sounds or a link to a playback yes??

Not that I've tried. I did a few of them like volume+ and speaker booster but nothing worked. I wonder how the touchwiz based roms had the volume booster in aroma, and there was a 4.1.2 rom (Csrom the bmb I think) that had volume boost but was aosp. If i find one ill report back but so far Im waiting to see if anyone else can help.

The volume hack is a choice too. Most ROMs have it already but looks the other is like a amalgamation of all the tweaks

V4A gives you whatever you want, if you cant get what you want from V4A, it means you cant set it correctly. There are at least thousand kind of settings, only for bass. What you are telling is impossible.
V4A is one of the best things on whole android world...Incomparable with any other music mods, without discussion.

Ofc that's your opinion. For me V4A bass, even with good IRS, are usually not so good like MegaBassBeats. This mod is amazing with Headsets and in combination with V4A
Just try, it's free

i don't activate any IRS (installed tons of them) except irs there are many options.
As you wish mate, you like this one okay than, nothing to tell, personal tastes.
And i didn't mention that this mod is bad. Just i sad, there is nothing that you cant do with Viper (V4A)
Coz you asked about running both of them together
Tried this on cm10.1- Yup sound mod improves the bass however using it with apollo/ dsp manager- it rendered the equalizer useless (well to my ears). Shifting from the different sound presets, there were no difference at all from flat to rock to deep etc..
sorry, but if i have been installed beats audio (another mod) it may work?
thanks. working fine on somin.n Light rom. sound was too silet to hear navigation turns on motorcycle (in ear plugs)
HTC legend was much louder - now it seems to be the same loudness. thx again!
works perfectly, and with Poweramp installed it's even better
thanks

Hi there bro. I flashed this MOD in light by somin.n and how do I know does this MOD was working on my phone or not ? I can't really find the differences between before and after.
If you cant hear the difference then it obviously doesnt work...

How to increase headet volume. I tried viper x but it still doesn't get any louder. Any suggestions
I think you need a kernel that has volume hacks, like Agni kernel.
