Want a nandroid backup of stock rom galaxy y - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 General

Hello
I want a nandroid backup of stock rom because I have installed custom rom and want revert back
to stock rom I have made a backup of stock rom before installing custom rom but when I restore it the
restore completes but the phone stucks at boot Samsung galaxy y young............... I didn't want to restore through odin
so plzzzzz plzzzzz, someone plz provide me the nandroid backup of stock rom

I have one but without kernel
Sent from my GT-S5360

A nandroid backup includes users application with data,
That's why I think noones going to share a Nandroid, why you don't want to flash through ODIN

Use ODIN, it's a better way than nandroid backup....u might get stuck at logo in the new backup too, but ODIN's always safe....
Code:
System.out.println("Sent from my SGY");

This is what you want, btw its an asian firmware, you may need to change csc after flashing if you are not from asia:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1710161

can anyone tell me that why i stucks at logo after restoring the backup and i wanna tell 1 more thing that the 1st time i restored the backup it restored without any difficulty but at second time it stucks at logo why it is so......

Make sure you are on stock kernel before restoring the backup

here it is bro..
go to stock recovery then wipe data/cache, then apply update from sdcard choose your cwm then inside cwm wipe data/cache again, then backup/restore then restore... dont reboot, select advance then choose reboot recovery.. then apply update from sdcard choose cwm, install zip from sdcard, choose zip, find your stock kernel.zip then install.. after install, reboot system, done..

The previous custom rom.you installed probably installed a custom kernel that requires 99complete in init.d folder to bootand obviously that file doesnt exist in stock rom bro

It's because the custom ROM would have been on a different kernel, so when revert back to the default one, it gets stuck. I'm not exactly sure though.

[Q] Steps before installing custom rom.

I'm on stock rom baseband DXLC1 fresh from factory.
I'm confused which step comes first & next to do before steps like :
Extract the file into SD Card
Do restore via CWM with this step :
MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE HAVE ENOUGH BATTERY LIFE (80%-100%)
MAKE A FULLY BACKUP FOR ALL OF YOUR DATA
MAKE SURE YOU COPIED THE BLACK NOTES FILE IN YOUR PRIMARY SD (avoid the Bad SD, and bad swapped configuration)
DO FULL WIPE TO YOUR DEVICE 2x (flashing newer stock before is recommended)
DO RESTORE VIA CWM SELECT RESTORE DATA
REBOOT
DONE
do i have to do first? root>flash rom?>flash firmware?>recovery?>flash kernal?
i'm going for [ROM] Black Notes Hybrid 2nd Gen so what to do from scratch...hmm..
Thanks in advanced

[Q] how to install cf-root?

how do i install cf-root.first i install with ext4 recovery and format my device to ext4 and then when i install cf-root and then i reboot my phone is and just stuck on "galaxy gio" logo.does am i done a wrong method?
You need to make a nandroid backup, then flash ext4formatter, then restore your backup and flash cf-root
Format = clean
So everything gets wiped, you wiped everything and then installed a kernel, but it has no system to run so it cant boot

extformatter is the same as wiping.
it wipes every partition on your phone, and then sets the filesystem to use EXT4 instead of RFS.
first flash a stock rom again, or restore your backup if you had one.
instructions:
- install custom recovery supporting EXT4
- do a nandroid backup
- flash ext4formatter.zip
- restore nandroid
- flash cf-root
-reboot
thanks now i m should be able to install adrenaline engine

[Q]Sticks on bootscreen after restoring backup

hi,
a few days ago I installed Chobits digitalis v2. I made a back-up with cwm. But, I wanted to go back to the stock rom, so I restored the backup, but it sticks on the first boot screen(see attachment)
Then I installed chobits digitalis again and it worked. But how can i get my backup or the stock rom back without losing my data?
Thank you!
Always Make data/cache wipe before restoring a backup.
Backup your apps with Titanium Backup so you can restore them in other ROMs.
When restoring to stock ROM, if you get a bootloop then enter recovery mode, wipe data/cache and reboot.
Press 'Thanks' if I helped!

I made a data/cache wipe, but it didnt work. But actually i want the data from my backup back..
Sent from my GT-S5360 using XDA
the reason i think is the kernel
you cannot restore the CWM backup because the kernel is different . go back to stock kernel first
Hi,
I still have chobits digitialis v2 and I tried to install the EVO-X2 rom. And, offcourse, I had the problem again. Can somebody tell me step by step what I have to do to install the EVO-X2 rom?
Thanks!
EDIT: Anybody?
Anybody?
You can try to format your system, then wipe data and then install the rom

Real Full Backup

i search for a way, to make a complete backup. Because i will test some other roms.
complete backup mean somthing like the ftf files for Flashtool. a backup from kernel, rom and personal data's in one way with one file or folder that i can restore later.
i think, that this not is possible with Smartphone on, so it must be a way with pc and Smartphone in Flash- or Fastboot mode?
please help!?!

Just install Clockworkmod Recovery and create a nandroid backup. That will backup everything, except your kernel AFAIK.
Then, when you want, you can restore it with Clockworkmod again and everything will be exactly the same
Thanks for the idea, but I search a way to backup complete because the next light Rom word perfect with stockrom 2.3.4 kernel and I don't want to flash stock Rom, root it and install cwm every time I want these Rom back. With the other roms no problem but for these Rom it eats many time to restore and I don't want a other kernel for this Rom. And I want to test an MiUi Rom!!!

Nandroid in CWM recovery backs up almost everything and everything you'll possibly need.
However you cannot switch/install a kernel without a computer.
I want to make a complete backup with pc when it is possible...
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
Dont think thats possible
As plugging you phone onto the pc only allows it to see the sd card. I doubt there is a way to do a full backup via the computer. Only through the phone is it possible. This is just my thoughts on it.

There's the adb backup command. I know it can do apps and data at the very least.

[Q] Just got the Note 2.

Hello,
I just have the note 2, and i rooted it with the rootkit i found on xda.
Now i've made a backup with TeamWin, and selected to backup everything.
Now my question is, is this my stockrom now that i back-upped?
And i noticed the counter went up to 2.
And for most of all, can i load custom rom's now?
And if i load a custom rom, will it effect my personal data? If so, how can i back this up and load it back?
Kind regards,
Hoolz14
if you installed TWRP or CWM recovery yes, you can flash roms. to clean the flash counter use triangle away and while you having a custom recovery check the option reset on every boot.
you should also check that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2093599
it is known that some phones have that issue and maybe yours so be aware of that
hope i helped, bests

you can restore ur backup using recovery..... flash counter went two i think 1 for the root and 1 for the custom recovery.,.,
Make sure you do a separate backup of EFS and you can flash any rom on your device
Triangle away will help you in resetting the flash counter
Awesome
Used titanium backup for backing up my user apps.
Can i restore these on another custom rom?

Yes, you can restore your app and the data as well. But for some reason, it would not recommend to restore too many data on another rom. But app is ok, just restore as many as you like.
