Hi guys, I have a problem with my Xperia arc. It's mounting a stock cm9.1 (downloaded from their website) with their kernel, and everything seemed to be perfect, until a few days ago the Wi-Fi stopped working! When I try to connect to a Wi-Fi it says low signal, and aborts. I wiped the cache partition, but it didn't help. Anyone faced the same issue? Do you think flashing another kernel would help? In that case, which one do you recommend ?
re-flash the kernel

after flashing ics beta i went back to arconium and now Data is not working. i ready try factory reset and im using doomkernel buut nothing seems to work.
If i install the official .62 from wotan that can resolve my problem?
ics beta has a feature to download internet and mms setting,if you have download it so data will work,if not there maybe problem with your network, not the rom
from the ARC
but now i went back to stock .62 and data still not working. i used pc companion repair to go back to stock .62.
plz if some1 knows about this problem i need help
how did u solved it?
Yesterday I flashed CM 7.2.0 FXP109 on my Xperia Arc S.
3G worked perfectly.
Later I installed AdFree, and set my phone on the table. I do not remember if I rebooted it first. About an hour later when I picked up the phone again, I had no 3G signal. Still nothing today. Tried re-flashing CM7.2 FXP109, whilst first wiping data/cache/dalvik. Still nothing.
Tried to put it into airplane mode, waiting 10 seconds and turning it back off, checked all the settings (and the APN settings are set the way they should).
Also, after having wiped the phone data and cache and re-flashing, somehow USB Debugging and Unknown Sources are still turned on. Shouldn't that reset?
Either way, something is wrong and I'm at a loss. I have no idea what to do, and I just bought the phone yesterday. Before that I had an X8 with GingerDX, so it's not my first time installing a bootloader, and I haven't had these problems on my old phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT:
I found a (possible) solution, at least it seemed to have worked for me.
I flashed a different kernel (and thus got a different version of CWM), formatted, wiped cache/dalvik cache and flashed back to the kernel needed for FXP109. Then I installed FXP109 CM7.2 and GAPPS again. Problem solved.
My guess is that for some reason, I had to flash to a different kernel and back to solve it.
Cheers!

Hello Everyone!
I've flashed my Nitro a couple of times already but still couldn't get my wifi to work, stuck on (Turning on). I'm stuck on my current rom (9-20120422-Nightly-p930) with HO!NOs kernel 2.6.35.11-HO!NO!_Mod-cyanogenmod... no problem with this rom, (the only rom i think the wifi driver is detected)
I've tried CM9 RC2, CM9-20120723, CM9-20120724 and full throttle but still no luck. Appreciate the help guys!
You only need to reflash baseband+firmware to fix it.

Hi Everyone! I have a very annoying problem with Reboots.
I have Xperia ZL 6506, Bought a week ago.
I have Jelly Bean 4.2.2 (with latest firmware) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2459497
. But it makes no difference, because I tried 4.3. too and it didn't make any difference.
Tried Full Wipe! Tried ,422 and 2.67 firmware versions.
I had an Xperia arc S, and it went well with that, so I tried to install Custom Rom on Xperia ZL too.
Made my phone Root.
I tried everything, till I flashed the ROM and it gave me Random reboots.
Now I am on Stock Firmware, ROOTED, Bootloader Locked and having Random reboots (with no link to why it happens).
Wi-fi isn't guilty, because it happens with on and off Wi-fi Too.
One more, I tried repairing it with Sony PC studio, but it gives me "Sony Update Engine Failure (Error 1601). "
Please help me. I am sitting about 7hours and have found no solutions for me! I have an SD Card 16 GB (Came with the phone) - Tried to format it many times and nothing changed maybe Internal card is the problem?

Many have had this problem with the ZL and mine also to have this problem...the problem maybe lies with the internal battery...you need to send to Sony service center for replacement...cause nothing in this forum can solve that issue...just if you brave enough, you could change the internal battery yourselves to test if that's the problem...
