Only comes with a 1750mAh battery , for the price seems like there are better routes per dollar, especially the length size it adds, but I suppose that 1750mAh in addition to your 2100mah won't be that bad.

maybe, but it keeps it slimmer than other options they already have with the larger battery they sell...not to mention I love the fact that we finally have a battery case with some front screen protection
(this and the active) and now we have 2 size options.
but 1750 + the fact that you lose some just in the transfer from case to phone is meh...will have to see how thick or thin this case actually is.
Im actually very tempted to purchase this case. I would bite the bullet but I REALLY just wanna see a review of this first.

Sleek case with our signature soft-touch coating provides scratch protection without adding much bulk
- Unique snap-together design makes putting on and removing your case easy
- Compatible with Innocell Plus holster (not included)
- Case includes a 1750mAh battery and slot allows users to swap out battery with a spare
- Included micro-USB cable allows you to sync and charge your Samsung Galaxy S III without the hassle of removing your case
So what I put in bold. Does that mean I would have my phone battery, the battery of the case, AND I can put an extra battery within it if I wanted to? If thats the case that is an immediate buy for me.

Why haven't we seen any of these on Ebay or for sale on any phone website? I would like to pick up a few extras just to mess with and make custom back covers but it seems as if we only have the one extra our phone came with. Due to the fact the entire back is the battery cover it lets us change the whole phone without a case.
I highly highly doubt that there will be additional battery covers in the future.
When was the last time a phone came out with extra battery covers a LONG time ago.
I know a lot of people would like them but it's probably not going to happen. Everything now is based around cases.
The fact that tmobile included an extra cover with the phone is great but rare. I don't even know why they did it.
I think he means more like replacements or extras, to mod or paint.

Yes or different colored batteries covers , im really looking for a stock white colored one i am looking into painting my own but would rather have one factory made.
I was hoping they would have this as well. I mean, they can probably fabricate it pretty easily. I would buy a rubberized back for 10 bucks and forget the case.
These are not battery covers, but silicone that goes over the battery cover. I have one, and they are nice. Not too much thicker and with a better "grip."

I like the glossy slip. With the white Korean phone maybe well get some.

Definitely looking for one in the wild, Im sure theyll come at some point, id love to see a gloss black over metal variant show up at some point.

Looks like they have a pink battery back cover from Anycall......... could this be the begining?
Why doesn't there seem to be an extended battery with a cover that only makes the phone chinless and not chubby. All of the covers I have been seeing make the phone considerably chubier. From what I have been seing, the vibrants thickest point (chin) is 14mm while the thinest is 9.9mm. If this is so, the phone could support a battery thats 0.9mm instead of 0.6mm and still retain its form, without the chin that is.
Another question is, if your going to make a battery thats 10mm thick, why not take advantage of the head room and strech the top, that is, make the upper 0.4mm of the battery, longer, as to cover the sim and the SD cards.
This would add at least 1000mah.
I believe that extended battery makers are trying to refrain from covering the external sd card and sim card with battery. I think it also has to deal with the speaker placement and safety issues. I mean, it would be great to warp a battery around things, but is it cost-friendly? No. Its just more affordable to make one huge square battery than a flexible one.

For a 3500mah battery, that is one nice cover. I guess only iphones get molded batteries.

Yeah, iPhones have that rounded shape to it with no abnormal chin. I'm sure the cases house just really thin batteries.
I'm with the OP on this - I'd pay a reasonable pirce for a 2000mA battery, which would just get a couple more hours. Then the phone would just be flat against the rear curve.

Just some food for thought: I use the Mugen Power extended battery/cover and actually really like the added size. For me, it makes typing and holding the phone much more comfortable.
Oh yeah, and the battery lasts forever.
Anybody have this dock ?

Also, how do y'all charge your 2100 or 2000 extended batteries?

It's got a sleeve that's removable for stick-on armor, so you can still insert your phone, however you can't get it in with a case. I only use the stock 1800MAh battery but there is plenty of room to move the phone forward when it's docked, even with the sleeve inserted. I think you'd be fine with the 2000 and 2100 MAh batteries.
Sorry for the **** photos, the Nexus camera is ****. :silly:

I was eyeing that dock, do you think a GSM would fit with the rearth slim case?

You can't slide it in with any case on. I am guessing the whole point of the removable tray thing is just for people with the non removable stick-on armor, which can add just enough bulk so as not to fit in a cradle, that solves the issue.

Although, that case does look really thin...
Have a look and decide, I hope the pictures are decent enough for you to get a good idea of size.
I would love to get a rugged case with an exteneded battery for my s3 anyone know of any companies making them? I know trident has one cor the droid x but it would be a great addition to the s3
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S III
the only ones i have been able to find only seem to fit the Hyperion Battery door (and OR any other make thats the same shape).
however it doesn't fit the Battery door that came with my MAX power extended batteries.
the Hyperion case comes in a bunch of colors but its a TPU case, so i wouldn't really consider it a "rugged" solution.
Yea i need a tough case i tend to drop phones and dony feel like pay for the protection plan verizon offers.

Got this in the mail a few days ago and decided I'd write a summary review for you guys just in case you're looking to charge your GS3 wirelessly. The kit includes a protective case that doubles as a back up battery for when you're on the go. The color is deep blue that matches the GS3 pretty closely except its done in a matte finish. Its a bit slick but not as slick as the phone is without anything on it so overall its not too bad. Has a button on the back that when pressed once checks the charge of the internal battery and when held down activates the actual recharge so you can juice up whenever you want.
From a protective viewpoint its not the greatest considering some of the sides are exposed as well as some of the top, not sure why they did it that way but its not great for face down protection. I would definitely recommend a screen protector. The charging pad itself uses the Qi standard so you can use it with the new Nexus 4, Windows 8 phones or if you decided to hack the back cover and insert a coil you can use it to recharge as well. They do sell the pad seperately if you don't need the case so thats always good. The pad itself feels great and smooth just like the GS3 does and the finish is nearly identical in color and touch to the capacitive button area of the phone. It only fits one phone at a time and obviously you'd probably like to find one specific spot to keep it so you don't have to lug it around from room to room or between work and home. I did a full review with a ton more details at the link below but that pretty much sums everything up.
Full written review can be found here: http://bit.ly/T4crrk

By the way, just found out Droidax is going to have a massive Black Friday sale with up to 75% off its accessories. Took a screen grab of the details.
I guess the Black Friday sale was extended.....you can buy this guy for $60 right now.
