It's fast and I like it! Dutch translation is the only minor thing that is not so good.
Whit aokp I can ad shortcuts from Browser (without going to widges) and even from xda (when you long press samsung gio subforum and then press shortcut) to the homescreen. With your cm10 it didn't work.
ps: jellaxy is great ... fast updates
Edit: secgps.conf is in system/etc is this ok or can i put it in data/gps?

Still seems alot smoother and google talk video works for me now.
Hi guys, I bring to you the files needed to support 720p video recording & playback, was compiled from source code files by myself.
Was tested on my ROM/MOD, wich it's based on ICS RC4.2 Onecosmic's/ICS SGS Team, with Icy Glitch V14-B6 Kernel and Midnight Kernel, with BigMem/HugeMem patches.
I don't know if works on other ICS ROMs, maybe yes, maybe not.

Can someone possibly direct me to some information about how these recent bigmem kernels came about? and why they didn't break hdcam etc...
I guess what I'm asking is, where did the ram come from? Is it something like, ram has been taken away from gpu and then apps/libs in the rom have been modified so that hw playback, recording require less?

i can confirm that flashing this file, with infinitum black, semaphore 0.9.8s (bigmem 399), all works in terms of playback, but 720p recording still doesn't work
Works perfectly on Elite v8 with Midnight kernel. Downloading v9 and will report on it in an hour or more.

If you are on 0.9.8sbm, 720p should not work. It is broken to get 399 instead of 387MB
Great, works on BLUElightNiNg_v1.1.1 w/ MidNight-0.9.0-2-HUGERAM!!

But there is higher chance that in CM7 we will have fully working camera. While in CM9 the chance is lower due to lack of official ICS support from samsung. For me, more choice is better On my previous phone (galaxy ace) CM7 is so much better than stock or modified stock rom.

My point is: If it is Android 2.3 based and we have all the drivers to Android 2.3 developed and working, why it can't be used on CM7 ROM?
What is different? The code is all rewritten? Is it being developed throught other ways?

cm7 has a cool gesture lock, it is more theme
beside that, if this cm7 fully working in sgw,
we can port JOYOS, DXOS, MokeeOS so many nice and pretty rom in our device
i think that will be a good advantage in our comunity

I think its a great start for CM7 for our wonder so why the negative feedback, every new rom means more powerful SGW with alot of varieties....

I have had some success in getting the camera working in CM10 by recompiling the kernel with PMEM support and including the libsurfaceslinger_client.so file from CM9. The kernel i have used is the latest from the cyanogen git repo so the patch should work fine with the FXP 141 release.
After applying the update zip file attached here you should be able to use the camera.

it just works
Powerbutton led doesnt light up when screen unlocks,but i would hardly call that a bug.
Need feedback about reception and data performance because AOKP doesn't have all the latest cm commits in the telephony stuff (I think).

I'm trying to build a couple of roms and the new telephony stuff from CM is what has broke them for the time being... so the new telephony stuff may not be in AOKP for a reason lol
Would this run on the d803?
I install this ROM all in all is good..
Just wondering if the fast charge is enabled by default or is something want to do before
Because the charging is too slow..

1st..Fast charging is not what it sounds like.
2nd Have you looked at the original charger? Its 1800mah.
Usual chargers until now were 1000mah. Some usb ports about 500.....so where do u charge? Orig. Charger is super fast for most people ive read about.

28.10.13: Recompiled with latetst AOKP & CM changes (HDR in Camera is enabled, and latest Active Display changes)
i ran aokp on my optimus G. by far the most table and smoothest rom there was and the LED light worked flawlessly. that being said i was wondering if the LED is working on the G2?

The led is working. I have different colors for differnt applications, and 'on' while charging
Anyway to get this working for the Verizon radios? I'd love some AOKP lovin

I just started a vs980 build using cm device tree, will keep you informed on the progress.
Keep in mind that i dont own the vs980 and i cannot give support
why its only 200 mb?

okay, try this for vs980:

This is untested as i do not have the device.
But this is the same AOKP as D802 only using vs980 props, kernel config and device trees from CM
