Liteflow is the rascal.... I bet if you uninstall it, it'll fix itself... (reboot of course)

Can you change it to any color? Say like green and pink if you are rooted?

You can only use colors we have LED's for:
Blue
Red
A weird purple-ish color when both are on at once.

Nothing blinks for me, I have handcent installed, and I can set it to red or blue, and it won't show. Its only on when charging. Super annoying.

Mine blinks but I'm rooted so either yours is broke or handcent sux.

Hey guys. So when I use the app "lightflow" I am able to get the led to be pink when I am charging the phone if I use direct mode and select purple. I can only make it work with the charging led and not SMS or anything. Whatsapp also blinks pink on its own. Does anyone know how I can just make it pink all the time? I know I am the only one who would want this but I thought I would just ask. LOL.

Omg I just realized I didn't put this in Q& A. So sorry. Won't happen again.

Q&A or general, doesn't matter to me...I like what you found and hope others chime in with being able to use other colors all the time.

Not sure how to do it for all notifications, but you can use Handcent SMS and pick green for led color to set texts to magenta or "pink"

Awesome. Thanks.
The reason I apologized is because sometimes I see people go off over stuff and I don't want to be gone off on. Lol.

Awesome, wish there were more colors available that work though.

I've run through all the different combinations of settings in Lightflow (free version) can't see to get the light to be pink for any notifications
There's another program out there called Blink that also controls LEDs. Has anyone had any luck with Blink and getting the pink LED to light (blue LED + red LED).

I use handcent SMS for texts and if you tell it to use green it will be pink but you have to turn lightflow off for texting. At the moment my gmail notification flashes blue and pink. I love that.

Is der is any app/way to disable all led notification at onec?( so that unnessary blinking at night can stopd)
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
You can disable the LED notification by going to Settings-->LED indicatior. Deselect the option which you don't want.
Edit:
Alternatively you can use light Flow

Disabling those option in settings does not stop the notifications from blinking the LED. Also it is confirmed by MANY PEOPLE that light flow is causing excessive battery drain on the GS3
Then what to do ?any other way?

I have always (even on ICS) had a solid green notification LED when I had screen off and charging with the battery is full. Is that what you are seeing?
It's at 72% and NOT on the charger. Just sitting on my desk or wherever.....Doesn't seem to do it immediately after locking takes about 30 seconds. It only started after the update... Also turned of LED notifications of ALL kind in the settings and it still does it...
Think it's service led just letting you know you have cell coverage like some other phones

Anyway to turn that crap off...I can't seem to see an option for that...
I downloaded light flow and changed it

If I reboot it goes away until I get a message then it comes back after I've removed the message....
so I was sick of the led notification light and turned off in the settings, but it still shows up! how do I get rid of it?! I tried using the blocking set to always for led notification, but I got the annoying blocking on notification that I couldn't get rid of... what do I do?

Yep I had the same problem. i would rather put up with the notification than have my phone blinking at me while im sleeping.

You can turn on blocking at night and turn it off during the day.
