I was so used to a similar one when I was on my HD2...but now pretty satisfied with the stock S3 keyboard...AND THEN I tested HTC/IME v30 with my old SETTINGS and boy...it not only brought me back home with the tweakable features and then some new ones...but I could swear it's more accurate and extremely SPEEDY. Thanks lgkahn
I am going to stay tuned. I miss my HTC keyboard. I used the sense 4 keyboard on my 3d and now I use it on my wife's hox. Can't wait for jb support.

It was just posted on the 12th? And I've only seen a post about the dialer but not the tw launcher. Thanks.
Yes, we've had this for awhile... probably like 2 weeks. The difference between the one we have and this one linked is that this new one can work on any ROM. The other one only worked on our device because we have the same TW framework, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Hasn't there been a port of the launcher since May? And it's said to work with all ICS roms also.

Hello all not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm going from a note 1 to a note 2 very soon and was wondering what the big differences between the new kernals and ROMs were. Experienced user input is very welcomed. I'm looking for something stable with great battery life as a start, after that, I can try new stuff as I want. Thanks again for any input I get.

ok, you have an honest face, so I guess I believe you...
That's the main reason I'm getting the note 2 I love my note and everything on the n2 is better I'm just looking for a solid starting point with a custom JB ROM that is stable. Something that sadly the note 1 doesn't have.

None of them are stable. If you want stable stick with stock ROM which is very good. If you are OK with some minor unstable-ness then go with CM10.1 which is really nice on this phone.

So the JB ROMs still have the lost call function and the random reboots? Or is there just a base debloated JB type ROM that don't suffer from those problems?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
Yeah pretty much although cm10.1 has fixed a lot and those guys are very good developers. Most other ROMs are just mods of CM. There is still some issues with CM but minor I personally never had a lost call or reboot but sounds on calls sometimes is an issue and camera freezes and video recording has lags and stuttering.

This is not true. Clean ROM is just as stable, if not more stable than stock. It's essentially a stock ROM that had been debloated and had some performance tweaks. I switched over and haven't looked back.

I keep on coming back to clean rom 3.5. They have newer versions but this one works best for me as far as speed and battery life. Go to scottsroms.com and looked in the recently archived builds section.

So I know the phone is now live and we have a system dump from the international version through Sam mobile.
I was wondering what it would take to get the s4 camera and launcher fully working on s3? Is anyone working on it? How far along are you? Need any testing?
If not, how do I port it? I have the files from the camera, no real experience in porting but I'm a fast learner...
Hope we can jump start this thing and get some of the best S4 features on our beloved S3!

Check my thread in my sig, I have a list of almost all the Galaxy S4 ports available. The launcher has already been ported to every device including AOSP/CM/AOKP. As for the camera, it has almost entirely been ported but as of right now it works only for android 4.2 roms and not 4.1. Here is the link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2222573. Keep on checking my thread since I plan on updating it as soon as more are released.

They require they android 4.2 framework. There hasnt been one ported to Sprint. There has only been a leak of it for the international one which doesnt work for the us carriers.

It's working on 4'1'2 goodness reborn. You can extract it from the rom. I use it daily. Actually it has a lot of stuff from the gs4 except the look away from the screen to pause video & looking up& down to scroll pages. Everything else is working great. Flash the ROM then the stockish theme & it's just like a stock gs4 on a gs3

I am trying to find the theme you were talking about but I can not find that. I must be reading fast or blind.
This is the pre-alpha thread of OmniROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (l900). More information can be found here.
This build is very bare bones at the moment. Don't let flashing this now turn you down from trying it again in the future, a lot of changes are coming soon. I would still consider this much more of a tester than a daily driver unless bare bones is your style. The rom is very smooth and fast though probably for that very same reason.

What doesn't work:
You tell me!
Installation method:
Wipe all if coming from another rom
Flash OmniROM
Flash GApps
Reboot
This rom does not come with root by default. Flash SuperSU in recovery if you want root!
Flash at your own risk! No one else is responsible if your device bursts into flames
To try out multiwindow, go to recents and long press an app. Click add to split view and repeat to add another app. Keep in mind its still buggy at the moment
Have fun and enjoy!
First
And I just flashed this. Liking it so far. I have been on TW for a while. May have to switch.

You can always use the xposted framework to add that back.
And the rom is cool right now but pretty lacking in settings.

How do you flash an AT&T rom on a sprint phone? I'm assuming there are differences between the same rom on different devices
Just found this ROM and I'm going to try it out but I wanted to ask if it's still being develop on.
What it do Slick Rick going try this I've seen other omni roms well into development not asking for an update just curious of the progression of the rom. So far so good looking forward to more to come.
