AOSP keyboard on CM10 - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Hey guys anybody else noticing that auto correct does not work on the stock keyboard on cm10. It shows the corrections as options but not the default option that applies when you hit the space bar, you have to tap the correction manually. Is this normal?

Turn off Auto-Correct?

Hey Peeps,
I would just like to find out how you turn off the Auto-Correct feature on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc.
I've upgraded the ROM to ICS 4.0.4 (official Sony ROM). I have set the auto-correct options ("text-input settings") to off for EVERYTHING. But when I use the landscape keyboard (QWERTY) then it still auto-corrects. How do you turn it off!? I'm mainly using the phone-pad feature but sometimes I have to write a long e-mail so instead I use the landscape keyboard to input my text.
On the attached screenshots you'll see what I mean as well as how the text-input settings are configured. I have worked through every possible menu through the phone to try and switch it off but I can't get it off. Is this a bug or what?
It's on the second screenshot: Word suggestions.

Browser brightness

So anytime I open my browser it automatically darkens. I hit the home button and it brightens back right before it goes to the home screen. How the f do I change this? Is really getting on my nerves.
Stock Rom by the way.

Same.
I have the same problem. But I can't find the browser's brightness settings.
I had it before the software update, but it is gone after the update. Don't know what's up with that.

After the latest OTA update the browser uses the same brightness as the rest of the system. You can control it from the status bar.
I have the latest update but don't see how to change the browser brightness setting without it changing the system brightness. Is there way to fix this? Thanks

Stock keyboard doesn't have auto-correct, I guess you're using a mod like the one by Arsaw (from the apps and themes section or integrated by your rom cook). If so the only way to turn auto-correct off is to turn Predictive Input off or flash stock keybord. But if you want to keep using it and just skip the suggestions for some words you have to tape the word you're writing so it loses the underline and won't get replaced.

Can't hide keyboard!

So not sure if anyone has this issue but after changing my ROM I am no longer able to hide my keyboard by pressing the back button. Most apps I can tap the screen to hide it but some require me to hit next or something on the bottom of the page and my keyboard is blocking me from doing so and pressing back just takes me to the previous page...I included a picture of what happens

How do I change the keyboard in TouchWiz GB27 4.1.2?

How do I change the keyboard in TouchWiz GB27 4.1.2?
I already have it checked and enabled in settings.
I tried holding down the space bar, no go.
I tried touching and holding in a textfield, no go.
I'm baffled?
While in a text field look at the notification bar. Pull it down.select the change input method notification and select your new keyboard.
