Just noticed a few tweets from Peter Alfonso regarding pushing his Bugless Beast JellyBean source tree to github:

Not sure if it's even a possibility for our phone, but I'd definitely love to see a Bugless Beast ROM. I remember using it on the original Droid, as well as my EVO for a short period of time and it was great. Any developers willing to try and bring this ROM to our phone?

That would be nice. I ran his roms on my ns4g. Too bad he was treated very poorly and was disrespected by a mod with a power trip. LOTS of people loved his roms and used them. If anyone doesn't know who he is, he makes roms that are as stable as Calkulin's, very stock looking, but run like a sewing machine under the hood.

[Q]How to assign button to end call?

Hey guys, does anyone know of a way to end calls using a button designated by the user? According to research, other froyo devices have this ability within the stock rom. Device is rooted if that is a prerequisite...
EDIT: I have not tried button remapper, it might be what I was looking for

CyanogenMod already has this built in.
Thank you, but I prefer sense roms until all the kinks get worked out with CM. Can't quite figure out buttonremapper...it seems to cause my phone to restart
I would love this feature too but I do not use CM.

Try 360 launcher
Cyanogenmod Nightlies
Tdj's Demonspeed v10 Kernel
ClockWorkMod Recovery 5.0.2.0
Unless you somehow port Touchwiz to our phones....you can use this CM7 theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021507. Then there's a Touchwiz theme for Go Launcher in the market. It's close but still won't look exactly like it

Or you can flash the ICS ROM by Lord.
Samsung's Touchwiz is pretty similar to ICS. So you may like it.

Real helpful paniro...
Yes, there are a few people working on AOSP kernels, most noticeably Bubby, former member of XDA. He has a working AOSP Kernel already released.

I thought it was funny and Bubby is working on a kernel. I would say with the release of CM7 he has accomplished that. Honestly I have not heard of anything but hey who cares when it comes out you will know. The source is out there in case you want to be the first to compile one for us.... Jus sayin'

[Q] AOSP Roms, who's running them? Any issues?

I have my Verizon M8 since release. Phone is petty much awesome. It has S-Off and has been running Viper Rom for the entire time. The ROM is Kick A$$ and love it but I also miss AOSP that I had on my Nexus. However I hear some negatives on AOSP on the M8. I have heard AOSP roms have issues with WiFi, GPS , Sound Quality and Camera. I like what I have but have the itch to switch. Anyone that has tried AOSP roms please chime in and help me out. What should I expect?
Thanks
BB
I use on my AT&T M8 and it feels and acts just like my Nexus 5 does but with the faster updated snapdragon chip
Also updated the firmware to 3.28.401.6
