I was literally at a best buy mobile shop talking them into price matching sprint.com which they agreed and well I saw the free zte tablet for a smartphone buy and I said ima wait till Sunday

This! ...first- 99.9% of the ROMs here are stable as any sprint or Google will ever put out and with bug fixes included. Second- you have the abilities to unlock/root this sucker without issue and adding ROMs has been made so easy by the community and the videos they put out. Third- sprint already released the necessary binaries to make custom ROMs (I think I'm not an actual dev..)

That has got to be one of the most poorly written questions I've ever seen. With a mastery of English like that (did you mean "easiest" when you said "easys"???), how on earth do you hold a job that allows you to afford a smartphone? Holy crap. That seriously makes me sick. What's wrong with our schools...
And it's not even a real question... 'best' isn't an "at everything" thing, or there would only be one ROM, because the rest would all be 'worse'. You need a specific question if you are looking for any kind of meaningful answer.
I'm sad to say I'm interested in the answers to this topic, which is why I read it myself... let me try wording it better so that you don't simply get pummeled by people making fun of you:

What's the most stable ROM?
What's the ROM closest to stock Google Jellybean?
What's the most built-out, tweak-able Jellybean ROM (including features not in stock Google JB), and how does it compare in stability to the most stable ROM?
How do the new Sprint/Samsung leaks compare to these?

My bad I didnt proof read everything I sent it out but you say whatever you want not going to hut my feeling any I got other thing to do besides pick ob people instead of trying to help someone isnt that what this site is for to help people and pick on people and im running tw jb now but either doesnt matter to me just looking for a better rom

There is only two sprint tw jellybean rom the leak one and then joshbeach came out with a jelly bomb touchwiz hybrid of the sprint tw leaks.
On the other hand original dev jb roms my fav is panadroid and then second fav cm10!

Note the Sprint leaks are Touchwiz - should indicate a JB OTA update coming soon if you didn't want to install one custom. The latest ROMS are pretty clean - cleaner than the ICS final release leak for the Epic 4G Touch was, so that may be forthcoming soon.

I think that could be right seeing as this is a tiny update in general.

Please, don't create expectations or start rumours about possible ETA's.
You've seen it with the 4.1.1 update, carriers can hold up the process undefinitely if they feel like it no matter the "size" of the said update.

I read about this last night too. There's no way of knowing when or if we will ever see this officially. Just as European S3's got the multi-window already it's up to the carriers. I'm sure they'll find some way to get it in a custom rom on here when its out.

We'll probably have the Galaxy S4 before this update even arrives..

Sounds interesting but I wouldn't get my hopes up for a release any time soon.

So far, it would just be the international i9300 version in Poland or the UK.
Nothing for the i747 yet. You will still have to wait a few weeks for the leak.
I've been toying with the idea of changing the CSC on my phone to trick Samsung Kies to download it to my phone.

I believe it WILL work as you've said. The APK files themselves would be the universal part.

it's much more complicated than just the APKs. you need the modified jar files as well, which will boot loop a Us Gs3. search for the GS2 tutorial on how to run multiwindow to see how complicated it really is. in theory, it is possible to modify the jellybean us GS3 files to get it all running on our phones. but, it will take some talent.

is there anyway that i can get the multi-window feature on my galaxy s3 since the new update didn't have the premium suit?? I waited so long and so bad for this update to come out but when it came out nothing was different about it.

You can flash a ROM with multi-window support, or wait until 4.2.2 comes out. I think those are your only options. The only ROMs that support multi-window are TW roms and you can find a list of those at the top of this forum in the FAQ thread, post #2 or 3 I believe

There is a multi window mod in the dev section also. See if what you are running will support it. Just flash in recovery and you're set.

Like they said, flash a custom Rom that has multi-view in it, check out my Sig, it has a multi-view mod that you can apply to any tw Rom so long as you're rooted, or wait for the next ota update from Sprint, it's already confirmed to include the premium suite... so we will be getting multi-view officially with our next ota update, sadly it's still 4.12.....

As Flast said the next ota will bring the premium suite so a little more patience will pay off. Also as mentioned it will still be 4.1.2 which in my opinion is not a bad thing. Having other devices which have 4.2.2 there's nothing better about it, but several things I dislike.

I think they are just going to wait for the S4 to come out before releasing Premium Suite. But yeah, they have plenty of roms out there that have multi window working. There is one that actually has some of the S4 features including multi window. I have a walkthrough on how to install it here....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224680:laugh:

Was in the same boat as you pal until i found the TW clean bean rom v2.6 ... has fully working multi window, photosphere camera and couple other cool options. You can find the latest files on the s3 android dev forum..look for clean bean rom v2.6.... hope that helps

Sprint LG G2 no love?

So Ive never had a device (even on sprint) that has no development to be seen within a weeks period of time. I believe the Root we have is from other devices and the CM 10.2 build that was posted was something that was supposed have never seen the light of day and was broken. I totally love this phone but I was really excited for the development aspects since its basically nexus 5 with a different shell. Anyone else with the sprint variant a little worried by the lack of interest?

I'm on the same boat, many probably are.
This phone is still solid stock.. all I really need is tethering... patiently waiting

Development is under way. There are 2 devs working on a CM 10.2 ROM right now and another working on a version of CleanROM for us. Its going to take some time and the phone hasn't been out for a week yet.
Also the CM 10.2 ROM was removed because the build was not tested and verified by the dev to be working and they removed the links to it in case it caused a potential brick to the phone. People who downloaded the ROM say it had GPS lock and rotation issues so you don't want to download the ROM anyways. In fact they saved you the hassle of reverting back to stock or a nandroid backup. Read the last few posts in that CM 10.2 thread to get a sense of the situation.
I am not worried at all about the "lack of interest" in this phone. You have to remember that not all the potential devs have received the phone yet such as garwynn who probably just received the phone today. Lets give the potential devs some time to come out with new ROMs and other mods. There are enough ways currently to mod the current stock ROM anyways through Xposed and other mods like (increase volume).

Its only been a week. Our device was rootable even before Sprint released it. I'm not worried. For now I've been using Greenify + Titanium Backup to keep my phone in battery/performance BEAST MODE.

Install G2 xposed and you'll see you can do a lot of the customization yourself. There's also an xposed kitkat theme in the theme's section by ock. The device is already fast and ignoring aosp roms, you can customize the stock rom to your liking.

I was just noticing that compared to devices I've had in the past (even the SGS II which I hated lol) had some things pop up pretty quickly. Also make sure that no one takes this as me complaining, just thinking out loud here.
And as to the xposed stuff, Im atually just interested in some slimed down stock roms and AOSP, but thanks for making sure I knew about it
PS: Ive also had this phone for close to a month so Im probably feeling that rom flash bug harder than most XD

I'm also getting the flash bug since, like you, I got mine mid Oct.
Great to hear though that there is development support coming. Very excited!!!

WiFi tether is working on aosp goto general section, Sprint testers 4.3 rom and download Carbon ROM and grab 4.3.1 gapps from the Verizon pa ROM it works wonders no rotation issues

How can we help test it if we can't find the darn thing?

So far I've rooted, download rom, installed twrp, tried flashing it but it booted stuck on carbon logo. It may be because I don't have the gapps file.
