So my GPS doesn't work. It cant locate me. It stopped working about two months ago.
Ive flashed CM9, 9.1 and now 10 and I haven't had a working GPS for any of them.
Ive tried Maps and Speedtest and nothing.
Speedtest gives me a different location every time, Maps simply can't locate me and Google Now says I'm in Atlanta... I'm actually in Puerto Rico xD
I remember a while back when my GPS stopped working I flashed a fix but it never worked.
So yeah, idk where to start or what else to say.

did you Enable GPS?
do a super wipe, then flash back to stock T989 ROM via Odin
see if that fixes it
Lmao xD Yeah I enabled it.
Awww, going back to stock /: Well actually I can't cause I don't have a computer.

did you try to odin back to stock? once you do, turn off your data, wifi, and leave GPS on. Stand outside with that and maps on for 5 mins. i should lock on.

So I guess I'm screwed then, for the time being.

havent tried it, it seems to only happen when an initial connection is made.
my phone would do that every now and then even before the update. usually cycling the wifi off then on would take care of it, or i'd just leave it alone and it would take care of itself
Mine doesnt.
just did my phone and is fine not having that issue.

Hope I'm not double posting here. I'm really frustrated with max Payne mobile. Every time I check the market I get the "not compatible with your device" crap. I know I played it when I had the evo 4G lte. I thought maybe it was a jelly bean issue but I restored one of my ics backups and I get the same message. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong, or know how I can side load it?

Precursor: I have tried multiple roms both ICS and JB.
Ever since I rooted GB27 after doing all the OTA after getting my referb I can't turn 4G on. The status goes from Unknown to Enabling back to Unknown. I have 3G just fine, can connect to Wifi just fine, just can't enable 4G. Any ideas? I've tried a couple different things I've found here but so far nothing is working. My next step is reflashing my ROM with no external SD card in.

Have you tried flashing different modems? If you are running GB27, then you have to run a jb modem. But you can't flash modems through mobile Odin, has to be done through pc or cwm.

The modem is separate from 4G. have seen something like this before and it was a hardware issue... Another instance was because of a virus protection app that was installed on the users device.

Hey guys, I guess this has been reported before but I've never seen solutions or explanations for it. On AOSP ROMs, data works when it displays "H+", when its in "3G", it stops working, but thing is, sometimes I have to turn off data and back on again for it to work properly because it stays stuck in 3G

You can use it, though it hasn't been updated in a very long time. Only thing we know of so far for the md5 heat issue is to use a different modem.
You can flash any modem as long as it is for your model.

1.Update Profile and PRL
2.Change the setting into CDMA (Will Reboot)
3.Just Update PRL
4.Then Go too CDMA/LTE Setting
When it boot back up it should work fine.

Best advice would be to find one of the signal checker apps in the play store and see what signal strength you're getting. If it's weak you know the problem is with Sprint. If it's strong then you would need to look deeper into your phone/ROM/firmware etc.
