[bootanimation] Anime Macross Frontier Galaxy S

Heres a boot animation I made for the heck of it. It is a space battle from the anime Macross Frontier (related to Robotech for you old school folks) fades into the Galaxy S style 'S'. 480x800px
Toss me a thanks if you like it. I'll try to make more if there is demand for it.

i have one made at 480x800 and one made 540x960 so i think that i have one that will work, that was the first video that popped up when i youtube'd it, when i remade it i made it loop on the ending "system update" part

i believe you have to have a kernal that allows custom animations, once you get that installed then i think you can.

did not work in my rooted stock rom

You have to root with a kernal that supports bootanimation.zip such as the ones from zedomax. It usually will say if it supports bootanim or not. It actually came with my breast cancer awareness theme I dropped for E4GT goodness. Just never dropped it on my clock thread. It will surface when I get a chance

Notification pull down mod 4/18 added a zip to try if you have the right image

Twanskys204 and I have been messing with this mod. It's an easy flash. The problem is there are several different systemUIs out there, each one has a different name for the image. Before it goes any further, we would like to know if there is any interest in it. If your interested, reply here, no pms please.

If your going to try any, you need to do NANDROID first. I can't say what's going to happen if you choose to flash the wrong one.

Did u flash or move apps to system? Be sure that browserproviderproxy.apk is renamed then reboot
u can also try downloading the aosp browser on the market and see if bookmarks sync will work .

Idk...beans and hd are modified stock...not even sure what they would've changed from stock. Probably seevices.jar heavily modified.
I run stock rooted...De bloated so idk what to do for ya. Something within the rom. Not the browser zip

Try turning off chrome

This worked in HD 1 and 1.1...but broke in 2....This is kind of a big deal to me so I may revert

Agreed....not sure wtf happened.

You will have to see what sbreen did differently in hd2. It should technically work since isms built off the same mj7 base but idk what would be going on to cause it to not work.

I'm glad it's not just me selfishly. My favorite browser and I just can't get it going.
