Does anyone know how I would be able to get the optimum TV app for the kindle to work on this phone? I found a link to the apk and installed it but it says device not supported. Kindle runs on android, not sure what version but I'm sure there is a way to get it working on other devices. I just don't know how

I looked at the kindle section and saw that other people tried that and said it didn't work. And i don't know how to do that either. Still a noob..

you mean an older version? I searched 4shared for foxstar and starskyrob but didn't find anything. I looked at the rom thread and not sure what you mean.

If you want foxstar just type in foxstar 1.4 ROM for sgh t989 and it will come up on screen. I was actually talking about getting optimum on 4shared site

Yeah I wanna be able to watch TV on my phone. If a Giants game is on and I gotta dump, then I just bring my phone in and there is the game. or if I'm in the kitchen cooking..

My phone arrives today, but I thought I would drop this on the forum to let you guys play with it and see if it works on our phones. Site I found it on said it works with Gingerbread.
Only instructions:
1.) Clear data and uninstall Music 3.0
2.) If after installing the new Music.4.0.1.apk and you are unable to sync, then clear data again and all should be good.
Let me know how it goes.

The Gingerbread Version 3.0.34 is. This version was leaked from Ice Cream Sandwich and is version 4.0.1. So while they look similar, this one is the newest version.

Ok here is what it is doing I downloaded it tried to install it and it said couldn't do to another app with a bad signature so I used tb to install Google play and tried it then it said cannot install I'm not sure how rebooting is going to help that very much lol

Did you have a modded version? If so it might not work.. suggestion would be to go to data/app/vending.apk or phonesky.apk delete either one which ever you see and reboot phone and try to install again..

I've took the whole Google play out with tb and tried to install it that way still nothing had to install the one I had back on there is weird

1 you don't flash this. You install this as a regular app.
2. Its just a few bug fix to view all apps installed on your account on the all tabs etc .. Google just pushed the update to devices...

Apparently not, that one works. Every time I attempt to use this one it force closes.
