Droid Razr M Boot Animation - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

http://www.sendspace.com/file/f320s8
it's a zip within a zip so unzip and move bootanimation.zip to system/media. Reboot.
for the sound if you're on a touchwiz rom rename the ogg file to poweron.ogg and put it in system/etc
if you're on aokp rename it to boot_audio.mp3 and put it in system/media
sound SHOULD work then.

Looks great!

Where should we put the .ogg file. Under system/media/audio UI??
Lil lost on this one
Ty in advance

I wouldn't bother with the sound file. It doesn't work unless you're on a touchwiz rom. You would have to rename it to poweron.mp3 and put it in system/etc I believe.

It's either that or boot_audio.mp3. I can't really remember.

Paste into system/apps, set permissions to

Then reboot. Don't try to use package installer to install.
Thanks

OK so I did that and the app isn't anywhere to be found after reboot. Any ideas?

Are you sure you got the permissions right?
This is for the camera apk, but permissions are the same
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Have tried it several times and it won't show up in app drawer.

Try with permissions 644. Or if that doesn't work, do what you did before and cwm>clear dalvik cache.
Should work..
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Not sure what you mean by permissions 644 but I wiped dalvik and even wiped cache neither one worked not sure what I'm doing wrong the this app isn't showing up.

Is this the file manager? Just wondering why you would use it if you have root explorer already?
I'm changing permissions with root explorer but myfiles is just a easy app to open up and see your ext sdcard or internal. But no one puts it in their gapps

What Rom are you using?
Liquid smooth

I'm pretty sure the stock my files app won't work on an aosp Rom, which your Rom is. Try OI File Manager. It's close to stock look, but works on aosp
I completely forgot about that been a long day. Thanks for reminding me.

[Q] Gallery is gone

AOKP jb milestone 1
I disabled camera(stock app) because am not using, since I'm using this other app as a default camera
Gallery app disappeared after that and I cant get it back
Doesnt show in apps (drawer and settings), Rom toolbox also doesnt see it
how can I get it back ?
How did you disable it?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
The reason the gallery disappeared when you disabled your camera is because they are part of the same .apk. I guess you should try reflashing your ROM.

I don't understand this. How do I do it myself? Would it fix my problem? I deleted the stock gallery, and now I can't change my lock screen wallpaper.

Yes and no. You will want to swap it out (stat_sys_data_connected.png) with your systemui then put that in some flashable file and flash it through recovery since your phone will get pissed off if you try to swap systemui while it is running.
Hmmmmm ok I have no idea where to start on that I'm kind of a noob

Use a file explorer to extract > res > drawable-xhdpi. Then take the image Kenny mentioned and replace the image inside the drawable folder. Then drag the new folder in to overwrite the current one and push SystemUI.apk to System/app and have rw-r-r permissions.
I thank you for that info but it's all Greek to me lol

Check /system/etc/customization/content/wallpaperpicker for all the wallpapers. If you want to know where the theme based wallpapers are then open the theme.apk file in /system/app and check res/drawable-xhdpi
Good luck

I don't think that you can modify an apk on your phone but you can certainly use apktool to make any changes that you want to do. Also, if you only need to replace any image files then that could be done directly with winrar too. No need for decompiling.
