Maybe he uploaded twlauncher.apk and framework so its for stock and not cm7 ??

1. Download it
2. Use Root Explorer to Extract the ICS theme sidelock file
3.Delete the Phone.apk *coz it's gonna make u bootloop
4.Zip it usin RootEx
5.Flash it thru CWM
6.Stop Opening new thread / many thread in a day.... u can ask in FAQ
Open general section then press the stickies tab.....
Make sure u backup ur StockROm First....

Upgrading from cm7 to ics 8.5

I am currently on the cyanogen 7.2 and lordmodue's latest kernal I wanna update to the ICS 8.5 final final version, what are the steps that I have to follow?

if u flash icecold ur kernel alrdy will get changed to the one included ind lordmods rom. no need to worry

Just to clarify: all ROMs include kernels, not just IceCold. So even if you switch to another ROM, you don't have to worry about the kernel. Sometimes other kernels are downloadable, but those are usually available so people can test them out for the next release of a ROM.

Status 7 Error

Yesterday I updated my bootloader from UVALH2 to UVDMD5.
Also upgraded CWM to the latest version same with TRWP
but I am currently using CWM. The problem still exists whenever
I try to flash Carbon or Pac man nightlies

Post error message. Status 7 can mean a lot of things.

You didn't update your baseband. I'd guess that you updated your baseband instead. And 6.0.4.1 is available.

You updated CWM, but that wasn't the problem (I was only pointing out an old version to you).
You didn't update your baseband. I'd guess that you updated your baseband instead.

How would i update my baseband?

You already did. If you are certain your device is the SGH-T999, and not any other variance, grab the LJC (or MD5) standalone in my signature and flash it.

Today i tried to update my zl with ota but it fails
I have rooted my zl with dual recovery. Help please...

Did you unlock your bootloader...so If you did, official update would be a problem even on Sony update servise...

I deleted some system apps, modified some system wallpapers and i am using xposed framework.
I am unable to update via ota. What shoulf i do as i dont want to download 800mb ftf
Also i need to redownload ota after every failure
