Battery percent/extended toggles request - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

For stock ics rom? And of course jelly bean
Toroplus if that matters

Rooted or not?
If your not rooted your only options are 3rd party apps from the market I like Notification Toggles for extended settings and Battery Widget Reborn for battery %
If you don't want a third party solution and still want to remain stock you can use UOT Kitchen for battery % but this will require you to root your phone.
Or the easiest and most complete solution would be to flash a custom ROM

I'm inflicted ATM waiting on its for jb to drop then ima root.....
But for custom rom I'm looking for a stock based one with those features kinda like unnamed for galaxy s series
sent from stock toroplus

[Q] Need help in installing some modifications to my Android 2.3.3

Hello All;
I want to add some modofications to my official Android 2.3.3 (ODEX) version, these modifications include:
1-crt screen off animation
2-battery with %
3-extended power menu /reboot,recovery,download mode
4-the 5 lockscreens
Kindly help me with an easy way to have them installed in my SGS1 2.3.3
Thanks
Most mods only work on deodexed roms. Is there a reason why you must use odexed? If it's about voding your warranty, any of the things you are attempting to do above will also void your warranty.
OK, if I want to use a Deodexed version, will it be stable?? will it affect the performance of the device??
Is there any link for a Deodexed Android 2.3.3 that is stable and without any problems.
What kernel do you advice as I'm still new to Android OS
thanks and regards
You can use jkays theme with odexed, look for thread, you get different themes and power options available via a free app.

(REQ) Battery mods and drop down, Themes

I dont want to flash a rom i just want to flash mods like battery and drop downs and themes for stock 4.1.1 tmo Galaxy Note II Thanks to anyone who can make some CWM flashable zips
The AOSP theme is great and works on the stock deodexed

odexed? deodexed?

can anyone explaine what is deodexed rom and odexed rom?
is rooted stock rom odexed rom? if not, does it mean i can use multiscreen apps mod?
going to get my note 2 tmr any help will be appreciate
This gets asked alot..stock rom (rooted or not) is odexed custom roms are deodexed. And multi apps screen mod already comes built in the phone..
what i mean is adding a third party apps for multiscreen
Deodexing is a process done by custom rom developers to make their Roms more customizable. If you're using a stock rom, then it is odexed. If you're using a custom rom, then 99% it is deodexed.
For easier theming.
Like the 15 toggle switches.
Don't think you can fit that in the stock odexed rom.

Porting Phone.apk Contacts.apk and Lock Screen from Custom to Stock ROM

Hello devs,
I would like to ask which library and framework jar files (if any) are related to the Phone.apk and Contacts.apk in some of the custom Android Nokia X ROMs with default Jelly bean appearance of these two apps. I am not a developer but I would like to try to port these two default Jelly bean system apps to a deodexed version of the original stock Nokia X ROM. I do not like the appearance and mostly the way these two apps behave in the stock ROM and that is why I need them ported. Would it be enough to just copy files from a Custom ROM to the Stock ROM or a change of the stock Kernel would also be necessary?
What about also a port of the Lock screen (default Jelly bean) from Custom ROMs to the Stock ROM? Which files are related to it?
Any advise and help are greatly appreciated.
I do prefer the stability of the Stock ROM but several features like the mentioned above could substantially add value to the stable Stock ROM. Unfortunately, after trying a number of custom ROMs I still prefer the stability of the Stock ROM.
