OKay.... i need to unlock the sim network of my Lt18a Arc S ... so they told me and i have try to unlock with a diferent CFW .. diferente FW .. unlock by some stores with codes .. and still does not read other sim cards... im from El salvador .. its from a company call CLARO... and i want to know if there is a ROM or a Root to unlock the sim card service... :S i cant unlock it with wotana service.. already tryed .. so donno what to do PLEASE HELP..

You need the full SETools which you're not going to get for free, so it didn't work because you haven't done it right.
is there any rom or CWF that can unlock the phone or anything else, ... also with test point they told me some version of weeks like my is 12w16 :S because in my country some se tools will not unlock the phone.. :S

No Rom will unlock the sim. Search for jinx13 on xda or look in general for unlock. they offer unlock via setools but done remotely

What do you mean by 'unlock' - Bootloader or SIM? If it's the bootloader then I think you're following the procedure of my phone (X10 Mini Pro) as the Mini Pro uses fastboot. Try the SE unlock site if it's still there?

sorry.... Dev's are still working on a way to unlock the device...
There should be carrier unlock codes that you can buy from eBay, you have to a search there cause i have no more info on that.
I think rayner is confused with s-on & s-off

You can't unlock it in service becouse they don't know how to do it
In Romania and a few other countries the unlock codes are changed by the factory when they recieve the order for that operators. So no unlock code from ebay or any other website will work for this phones
If you still need to unlock it, give me a PM. I can do it.

Even thought this is a pretty old thread, i just want to post a note here :
ROMANIAN Carriers cannot be unlocked by code, so any site that claims that they can provide the factory code for this is wrong. The romanian networks change the code on the phone, therefore the code from the HTC database is wrong.
The only way you can get this device unlocked is with a USB cable or get the code from your provider ie Vodafone Romania or Orange Romania.

You can't unlock it at home. I found a way to downgrade some firmwares to 4.0.3 and then unlock them. But on new firmware with TP drivers changed, you can't downgrade becous you touch panel will not work.
So you are stuck with your providers or you can sell it and buy a Samsung or an LG witch are not stuburn to lock theyr devices!

Its suppose to read your spc or msl code should the the Standard app from play Store not work. I had a problem finding mine i tried everything from terminal to msl reader and nothing I apologize for any inconvience

I just bought my new N7505 yesterday and after i opened it, I realized that on its case, European SIM cards only warning written!!!

I am Jazzi from Mauritius. I actually have a Xperia Z5 Premium that is locked onto O2 ( UK ) which requires Sim Network Unlock Pin. I want to install an unlocked firmware but i don't find the firmware for Mauritius on XperiFirm.
Is there an alternative firmware , global or something that would work in Mauritius ?

use FLASHTOOL to flash it.
since the version shared above is STOCK , you dont need to ulock your bootloader.

I think the OP's problem is that his Z5P is SIM locked. I'm not sure whether he'll be able to use flashtool to change the Rom without SIM unlocking it first. If he can do that and it works great, else he may have problems getting his fone SIM unlocked.

with latest version of flashtool, SIMLOCK can be played with if you are in ADVANCE MODE, however its not recommended...

This is exactly what happened. Flashing was okay no more O2 animation. But sim lock still there !

No if you flash simlock.ta it'll brick it and only Sony service can reserect it, you need/must get a pac code from o2 to unlock the device to any network. They should provide one but only if there's no outstanding acc balance related to the imei no for that device. I believe that you can buy them from the internet on places like eBay no idea if this works though never tried it. But without the pac code it'll only ever work on o2 UK network no matter what region firmware you flash
