In Indonesia, version of Optimus G released is E975.
But it's hard to find the cases which is fit with it, because what available mostly are E970 & E973.
Does anyone know, what are the differences between E970, E973 & E975 (physically and it's internal specs) ?
Is it possible to apply the same ROM to those 3 versions ?

If you check on ebay, look for LS970(Sprint) cases, e973 works also. Pretty much any case except E970(AT&T) should work since that one uses 8MP camera. F180 K/L/S works also, and I think most cases are made for these because they have the opening for the antenna you get on those models, then the sellers just put another name in the description because it fits. So technically, just look on the pictures of the cases and make sure it fits the camera of our phone.

I myself am searching desperately, also I doubt if both the E975 and E973 can get the same ROM's or not, I will be getting my E975 in almost a week....
Here in Italy the official italian model from LG is E-975.............

E975 is the international one, it's the only version in a lot of countries. Just the roms can be slightly different with language.

Could be that E-975 is the international version, but in Italy LG sell the E-975 with "Official Italian Product" Logo on the box.........so the official italian version is E-975.....

Hi, i'm french user and sorry for my english. I have E-971 model (Canada), it's very difficult to find a good ROM with french language. I already tested all the ROM from XDA, when i have a good language, my Network is bad. I explain : i often loose 3G and often data network ...
Who know a good ROM for E-971 ? with franch band if possible,

That's weird as it does not touch your modem. Check to see if your apn is correct.

i want to know if it's possible to flash radio/band rom ?
You need the modem.img file from your original rom. Then you can fastboot flash with this command: fastboot flash radio modem.img
The modem.img should be placed in the adb folder.

just bought it an unlocked LG E975 from Korea.
I tried to check updates (it is E97510b-EUR-XX) but it says the phone is not registered yet.
How or where can I register it? I cannot read Korean's LG site. I tried the UK, US, France, Singapure without success.

Optimus G from Korea, is that not the F180 and they have there own ROM's.
If you install another ROM on it, for example the E97510B-EUR-XX, then you get this message.
Korea had 3 Optimus G models. the F180K, L and the S. and they have there own ROM's.

No it does not have an antenna. I will check the took. Thanks.
Becarefule with this installation, you get a Korean ROM with Korean tools, programs.
You can change the language, but can't remove the strang korean signs in the dialer.
Again some picture from the LG tool, here you can see the model and the installed ROM are different.
If you had installed the Korean ROM then you should see F180L20P.
The LG Tool is installed and working. It updated drivers. It says my version can be updated. There is nothing instead of E975 so I think it is Korean made but ROM is not korean. So my question is if I should update. What's the difference between my version and the last updated available? Anyway thank you so much! I do not have time to update it today if I decided because I have to work.

I don't know the differents. If you use the LG MobileSupport Tool to install the update, you have the Original/latest ROM for your mobile and then you know the model type for ever and then it check for updates, without the registration error.
If you have no problem with the Phone now, think about twice if you want to install the original version. It can be a Korean or Chinese Phone and then you get maybe strang charachters and programs.

I bought a Lg F180K mobile unlocked from south korea. It shows Olleh, a network in south korea when i switch on. But the phone is out of the network. I knew this because my Indian sim worked with it and it appears that Sk telecom is providing the international roaming for my home network. Now i m on 4.1.2. My question is when i return back to India will i b able to receive further updates ??? Who will b providing me update Lg or Olleh ?
