Just checked my backups and I noticed that all the backups have the same date (something like 01-01-1970). Anyway to fix this? I guess I'll just have to reflash them all until I find my stock image, but after that at least there has to be a fix... right?
I'm running CM10.

Known and long standing issue... Manually rename after you do a backup.

There is no way to get the proper time on your existing backups but this may help you in the future. I have not tried it yet.

just rename the main folder, no spaces in the filename, keep it around 8 spaces and you should be OK...

So I want to flash a CM9 ROM to just have fun with, but I also want to keep my Darkside as an emergency backup cause it's completely stable and I have it exactly how I want it. So what I'm asking is if I made a backup up my Darkside, could I rename it Darkside with a file explorer or does that break the back up? Our is there any certain kinda things I have to have with the name when I rename it?

I will work fine i think just don't change the format.

Nope. You can actually use from manager to rename them if your not confident.

Sorry for the noob question. I was wondering, if I rename my nandroid backups, will I still be able to restore them? When I had my Photon, I would get all the way to the end of restoring a Nandroid backup and it would fail. It did it for all my renamed backups. Just was wondering if it's the same for the GS3?

Should be AFAIK, linux just tends to stumble on spaces in file names if you don't escape them. I always follow the name scheme of ROMX.DATE so for cm10 I have CM10.8.31.2012, hope that helps.

Came across this app the other day named Online Nandroid Backup. It basically allows you to create a Nandroid backup without having to reboot into recovery. Tried it out and did everything as advertised. Anyone have any experience with this app?
I have not. Looks interesting though.

Thanks bro, thats why I posted it so other flashaholics could check it out too.
This is a nice program in theory, but last time I tried it I couldn't restore the backup, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the program.
My question is what happens to the data once it enters the "cloud"? If there is data in the backup, it could be compromised methinks....

The back up is saved to your local storage, not a cloud. The "on-line" reference is to your phone being not in recovery...

Does this happen every time? Or just that one time?
If you could, boot into TWRP, make a nandroid, do a factory reset. If it works, then it was [probably] a little glitch. If it doesn't work, go into the advance menu and copy the recovery log to the sdcard. After that upload it here. That'll help a lot. Also, you know, if it did work and wipes your data then you'll probably want to restore your nandroid.

Wow, um, let's see; you could try to redo the data partition. I don't know that that'll fix anything though. Plus it would wipe everything in /data including your internal sdcard ( /data/media). I've never seen or heard of anything like this. You could also talk to Dees_troy (sorry if I'm spelling that wrong), he did make TWRP.

All I can say is just flash another recovery.. And then if you want try to flash TWRP again. That should solve the problem.

How did you download and flash the recovery? On your phone through goomanager because it could be a bad download.

I've flashed dozens of roms in the last month & for some reason cwm (I think this is the culprit) creates all these 0/ folders & it's really annoying. Now all ym downloads, music & apks are ALL over the place. Is there a fix for this? Or is there something I'm doing wrong? Please help.

Its not CWM, its 4.2+ roms, they partition your sdcard and store everything in /0 rather than in /
