Does anyone know of any online retailers who reliably sell the real deal for the E4GT, not knock-offs that die in a month?

I cannot answer your question except to say that Amazon has several sellers. But I will tell you this, QCell sells a 1950 mAh slim battery that I have been using for over a month and is currently rated at 2144 mAh. It definitely lasts longer than the OEM.
Before you buy a new battery, go to the Sprint store and see if your current battery is covered under warranty. I've had my epic touch for 15 months and my battery started to cut out on me. I went to sprint and they looked up my warranty on my battery and gave me a new battery for free. Never hurts to ask

Maybe you meant 5 months? Lol because
A.) Our warranty on the battery is 12 months
and
B.) The phone isn't that old yet lol
But yes, we cover batteries for a year. Little known fact, but batteries are not covered under TEP

eBay. Just look for ones that state it as new, OEM, and list the model number. You can get them for as little as $12 with free shipping. Buy one or two and ALSO trade yours in at the Sprint store, then you'll have spares.
Mine's expanded recently, so was in need of replacement. It was easier for me to buy on eBay than find time to get into a store.

I've had bad luck with ebay in the past. I ordered a battery for my wife's E4G and got one date stamped 2010. It held even less of a charge than the old battery she was replacing.

Ya, its a steal. You can get them on sale sometimes on the site but he asked for the real deal and a reliably site so this is about as good as you can get. I recommend amazon.

Go to a Batteries Plus store and you can get the OEM battery and external charger for $40. Can't beat it...

What's up everyone. I decided to return my nexus today for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, now I'm stuck with some accessories that I will no longer be able to use, and have decided to put them up for sale.
Here's what I have along with what I'm looking to get for them:
- OEM Extended Battery + Cover (With original packaging, used for a week at most) --- $35
- Incipio Silcrylic Case (Dark Grey/Light Grey, perfect condition) --- $18
I also have a Revision 2 (volume-button defect fixed) Diztronic Matte-Black case coming in the mail if anyone wants it. I'm not sure how much to charge for that, maybe a few bucks.
Let me know through PM if you're interested. I live in Irvine, California but am willing to ship it to you if you're in the U.S. and if we split shipping costs.
this should posted in the marketplace section..
also have pm'd u reg. offer..
thank you

Is there anything similar to http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/samsung/galaxy-s3/sgp-portable-mobile-battery-kuel-f60q-series.html
It is basically like a brick that you can plug in your usb and chrages your phone from the 6000mAh battery inside of the brick.
Was wondering if there is anything similar to this but a much cheaper price?
There any loads of options available. Check around Google (not trying to be a smart one), just too many to list)

Tylt Power plant $59.99 5200mah sprint sells them works very well and pretty decent price considering you have a year warranty through sprint and 14 days to return I got this and a ten dollar pack of zagg screen wipes to get the twenty percent off of both

I bought this 5200mAh one when Amazon had that twofer with the 7100mAh one for $55. Sleek, smaller than a car garage door opener and has a laser pointer and flashlight built in too. Even now $34 is a pretty good price. Can't post links yet so search Amazon for: New Trent iTorch IMP52D 5200mAh External Battery Charger. I've had it for almost a week now and it's really handy to carry around.
I just bought the Trent iCarrier and got the iMirror for free as part of a promo on Amazon.

I've seen lots on ebay that are excellent counterfeits, some of which work as well as the genuine part. For example, I once bought a phone battery that looked exactly the same as the original, except for the quality of the hologram and two small typos, and it held a charge better than the original battery that came with the phone.
So it may well be worthwhile even if it's not genuine.
Hopefully they have nfc support....
A wise man once told me, "You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for!" $8 for a genuine Samsung battery - when they retail at $30 for a device that is still very popular, I would think twice. Spend the extra $20 for a legit battery.
Just my 2 cents.
Well I can always return it

Ask around at the other thread for the sprint 2100mAh battery if you have a cdma variant. Im using one now and a lot of people ordered extras over there.

i always buy the cheapest batteries i can find, you can order 3 or 4 and it still will cost less than one direct from samsung and you get much more battery life total
I bought two that looked identical to one on eBay. No nfc though.. I told the dude they were fake and he gave me my money back. So I got 2 free batteries that look stock with no nfc... beware of cheap batteries from sellers in Hong Kong...

With Verizon branding.
Q: why doesn't the battery actually say SAMSUNG? the OEM batteries say samsung on them. Aug-31-12
A: Hello, This battery is produced in the same factory than the original one. It is exactly the same samsung part, but due to copyright and license complications, factories do not stamp the samsung logo on them so they can sell them to other companies as well. In any case,I personally own an s3 and use a battery from this batch daily. It works just like the regular one. Hopefully this make things clearer.Thank you,

Really? They are the same sellers on eBay and they come from China as well. Just because it's fulfilled by Amazon doesn't make it genuine.

That's the most trusted replacement supplier in the world. Also, swbox ain't bad either. All Chinese suppliers aren't bad. These two are quite reputable. Check them out.
Wonder where this guy got so many covers. Mine is getting a bit scratched up on the corners after using my S3 bare for a few months, good to know I can get OEM covers on eBay.
I have the urge to get a white one and use it on my pebble blue, just to mix things up a bit.
Ordered one not to long ago and letters came off the back, just a warning. Don't remember if it was the same seller but the covers the same.

Sold my EVO to upgrade to the 3D, and of course the extended batteries aren't compatible with the new phone. Looking to sell these, thought I'd check on here before going to eBay or anything else.
I have two 3500mAh batteries, official Seidio brand. I also have one back cover. Only used one battery for a few months, the other one was used maybe once or twice at best. So essentially one is slightly used and the other is practically new.
Obviously selling these all at once would be ideal. But I'll sell just one battery too. I'll take PayPal and I can ship them (unless you'd want to pick up in Chicago). Let me know if you're interested!
Oh fyi the 3vo is a great phone but also a battery hog. You will want extended batteries for it. I bought one for my gf and even tweaked out I could get no more than 12 he's of normal use between charges.
