Lost my earphones, any other better cheap ones with mic? - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I'd been using the earphones that came with the phone, but they fell out of my pocket somewhere. Are there any other cheap ones that are better? I didn't think the SIII ones sounded very good. Were Nexus or S2 ones any better? Any other cheap ones under $20?

I would just wait. The only real good item that you will find on Amazon is the Barely There case from Casemate. DO NOT buy the other Casemate cases because they have pulled them from their site because the bottom cut out for the Micro USB was off set. The main thing that I am waiting for are the docks and some good pouches to show up on Amazon. If you want something right now then I will recommend the Klipsch heaphones, they are the best ones that I have owned but they aren't cheap. Of course if you are one of those people who break a lot of headphones then stay away from these. They are the only ones that have oval shaped ear buds, I think that they patented the idea.

+1 On the ear buds. I have the Klipsh Image S4, which are basically the same except for the microphone/button. They are amazing! Audio fidelity is superb for in-ear headphones...

Oh OK then you don't need the Android model because they are they same, I also have the same one as you.
I just bought a PS3 controller, which comes with an HDMI cable, and a MHL-to-HDMI adapter. I also have a USB OTG adapter. Those are some accessories you might consider.

Fake headset?

Hi,
I bought a "genuine" S3 headset on Ebay. It arrived, labelled EHS44ASSBE(GH59-10443B), sounds pretty good.
But the cable quality is much poorer than my original pair. The original is silicone, the new pair are cheap thinner hard plastic.
On my original pair, where the wires split, there is a FM symbol on the plastic. Can anyone else please verify this for me?
Cheers.

Looking for a high quality arm band.

Any suggestions? Saw Belkin made one and didn't like the colors.
Don't mind if it's from China. Just want something that's decent. Didn't see many options.
there was a thread about this earlier.
I personally use the TuneBelt #AB85 (for phones w/ bigger cases like otterbox and such).
I tried the armpocket one that you get from bestbuy but it's super bulky, and expensive (39.99) and with a case on it, you get almost 3/4 inch of space from the screen to the plastic cover.
EDIT: http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=137795545
I'm gonna get a waistband and bluetooth headphones. Less bulk on my arm and wires on my neck.

I'm a gym freak and work out about 3 hours every weekday. Having gone through countless armbands I can confidently state that the NXE armbands are the best. They feel very silky without the bounce and most importantly, they look awesome on your arms. It comes on a two pick with white and black.
One drawback may the fit with the S3 as it is such a big phone. But if you have bluetooth headphones, it works great.
Reviews on Amazon seem to agree with my assessment.

I didn't quite understand. Does the S3 fit or not in the sleeve? And, I want to be using proper earphones not the bluetooth. Is this good for me or what?
what about the arm band that yurbuds.com make?

If it's proper earphones, then no. It's fits really snug but that's not the problem. It's that the earphone jack is covered by the closing lid.
I just got the arkon XL and I love it. Works very well fits the phone perfectly with either a small TPU case or none.

Good headset

Anyone can recommend me on a good and NOT expensive earphones that will work with the nexus 5? My current HTC earphones seems not to work. I can hear the other side while plugged in but the other side cant hear me.
Also, if it matters, I ordered the spigen hybrid case

Too expensive for me. Plus, it wont ship to my country
OP, what do you consider to be GOOD and NOT EXPENSIVE? Shipping abroad to what country - international shipping is not always easy, sorry ! Obviously, nobody is recommending a set of Bose NC for you - I do have a pair of Sennheiser myself & it's great - as headset only, it fits with the slim plug adapter.
There are eBay specials from LG for $10 USD or less - you might be able to find them locally at your location.
I used AirBuds - got a pair with free shipping for under $30 - the washable foam fit universally and excellent - here's link & they are on FB (watch for Black Friday/cyber Monday specials) - it fits in the Spigen Hybrid Ultra Slim black bumper case for the N5.

What would you buy for your Nexus?

If you already had a qi Charger (or 2) a Spigen case, tempered glass protector, what else would you buy for your beloved N5?

how are those earphones? I just ordered mine, I've heard some really good reviews about them.
I'm very satisfied. They look great, sound even better and work flawlessly with my Nexus 5 with all buttons and mic working just like they should. I've bought a lot of stuff for my phone but for me Pistons are one of the best buys ever.
The only downside is that while buying you have to beware of fakes, since the market is flooded with them.

Agreed and agreed. Love mine. Work perfect with the n5.
Buy from ibuygou or penonaudio. Both sell 100% real ones.
I have gotten for my N5: A S-Line case, retractable earphones, a dedicated MicroUSB (and USB-A) 2amp car charger (it shows as "Fast Charge" on the lock screen and Ampere reports 1300mA to about 1580 or so mA), SlimPort adapter (not for Maru OS, i'm not even rooted!) and some other things.
I would get a : a dock, a Qi charger (FoneSalesman' QiStone+ is being eyed by me), A SECOND BLACK 32GB NEXUS 5 (Daniel 5 the red N5 and Daniel 5-2, the black N5, maybe?), BlueTooth headphone adapter, etc.
I got mad catz cntlr for gaming..now planning for it controller !!

In my experience, a Diztronic case to replace the Spigen.
Diztronic? Really? The last one I bought, didn't impress me.
My answer. A DODOcase Durables case. They put the HTC One (M7) case on sale this week, and the M7 almost perfectly matches the Nexus 5's dimensions. I can wait to start carrying it in it. (I have Durables for my Nexus 4, and just got one for my iPod Touch 5gen. they're gorgeous, particularly when you get them for < US$50. Alas, the HTC One cases sold out in a day.)
I also ordered an LG QuickCover folio from Expansys. I always like having a full, book-style case for my phones. And this case is high speed. Light, thin, fits like a glove (better actually), and has a thin plate with magnets to ensure positioning on a Nexus 2013 wireless charger. Superb.
