You may try that but I would suggest you to do a fresh install of the apps, since restoring by TB may lead to FC issue, hope it helps

Is there a way to backup/restore the Trebuchet Launcher on CM9 Kang? I apologize in advance if there's a thread on this already but I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
I understand that when you flash CM9 Kang's ROM everytime, "winner" wants you to erase data under Trebuchet on the applications sub-menu in settings. I just don't want to have to constantly re-do my screens to put the apps/folders/widgets where I want them to be.
Thanks in advance for all your help
Anyone? Lol

Hi guys so i recently downloaded all the Android 4.2 system apps in the Nexus 4 system dump. I'm planning to install some of the apps to my GSM OneV running CM10 (the latest build).
Here are a list of the apps i would like to install and replace on the rom.
1)Music2.apk
2)MusicFX.apk
3)Calculator.apk
4DeskClockGoogle.apk
So i'm wondering is it safe to install and replace them.
yea safe ! although try a flashalble one, better option! and remember to change the permissions
How do I change the permission?

Look ...when i moveod to RC6.0 fx to AOKP i had made a titanium back up the i flashed the rom and when i restore the backup almost 90% of apps didnt installed. Then and also there is no inbuilt settings in message to restore it as it is available in ICS.Then in AOKP or Ujelli i had manually installed the apps and again make the titanium back up....after getting some battery error i had swithced back to RC 7 and when i tried to restore the titanium back ...same 90% app didnt installed...so my ques is that an ics backup didnt restore on JB and vice versa.
My second request is that ..the UI of JB is ossom ...but i need ICS/sense camera, music app on JB but i had extracted from RC7 rom.zim and tried to manually install but the didnt installed...or if i can get JB contact, phone ,mail, message app can be available for ics/sense then i can get the ui of jb on ics by trechubet.......also hot to make a .zip of any app so it can be eaisly installed....as i had some certain app that i love to have on my phone every time i flashed i had to spend 2 hrs to get them can i add all of them to a zip and flash them when flashing rom ...i had tried but no luck
Sorry if y doubt list is so long but i need help...hope this tym i am quite clear....

Hello Friends,
Accidentally deleted the file "com.sonyericsson.anthal.service" from titanium backup.
Is this file necessary? Is it protects the phone?
If so - Where I can install / get it back? I get his APK?
here's a thread of removable bloatware . You can check if it's on it

Hello there !
Glad that you are having a look at this :good:
I love HTC One V's stock ICS rom with sense 4.0, that awesome camera, battery life, stability and internet pass through feature was too good to be missed!
But the only thing that kept me away from it was the occasional lags due to those awful bloat ware n stuffs which HTC packed with this rom .
So I decided to remove all the “useless/unimportant/optional” apps from the stock ICS rom.
This worked perfectly fine for me OR should I say that I have no complaints :fingers-crossed:
I changed to Samsung Galaxy Advance recently, I thought of sharing this with my fellow mates in the One V forum as a parting gift to anyone looking for this (more like a pay back to the help this forum has given me).
A big thanks to Lloir and Maxwen, for welcoming me into this forum when I was a newbie (still am, somewhat … LOL). These guys are real champions! :victory:
Once again, I want to make it clear that it is 100% stock ROM with no modifications what so ever, other than the removed bloat ware!
I couple it with the Titanium Kiss Kernel by Maxwen (Latest Version)
Find it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1765687
Also this recovery file works ONLY using TWRP Recovery by rukin5197
Find it here (if you are not already running on TWRP) : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721749&highlight=twrp
Lastly … I am from India, and obviously this nandroid backup it taken from the “Asia-India” version of HTC ONE V Primo U (GSM version) phone.
So I’m not sure/ignorant whether this might work for other countries or not.
I would be glad if it becomes useful to you guys.

---------- Post added at 03:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:22 PM ----------
okay i have done the restore process
but when i want to reboot (while in TRWP) it said "no OS in installed"
what should i do?
No need to flash gapps on sense
And it shouldn't show that message, try rebooting.. and if it doesn't boot restore again.

make sure its in the TWRP backup folder
it is TWRP>BACKUP>(place the restore file here)
yeah... i dont remember the exact path
but there was something like twrp>backup and some kind of numbered folder
then you have this specific folder containing the recovery files
fire up recovery and it is supposed to work try it :good:
Which kernel should i use ?

the will not be any zip file ..
Download this file : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36249166/HTC ONE V STOCK ICS ROM - LITE !/STOCK.HTC.ONE-V.LITE-abhikm001.rar
Extract it
place the folder you get into TWRP/Backups/HTC(somenumber) (if there is no folder like that just drop it in TWRP/Backups) folder and restart in recovery and restore. this is called a NAND backup its not actually a ROM .. its a snapshot of abhikm001's phone .
dont worry about kernel if you already were using a sense rom or if u were successful in flashing boot-TK-USB-201212251804
can u teach me how to change the system into the german language or give me the german language pack? thanks
use root explorer to find the rom.might be in the sd.ext.

I am very curious, did it work on any other CIDs (countries) like Europe or anything? Anyone can give a feedback?

I'm sorry for posting here. I was thinking that each smartphone has different method.
SMS Backup & Restore is great but it doesn't work properly; i think that's something wrong with Samsung rom. It works great with CM10.1 (that is my secondary rom)

Titanium, like other programs, fails to restore all my SMS.
How can i say? My first rom is empty (i mean there aren't SMS); my secondary rom (CM 10.1) has a lot of SMS. I need to backup and restore them from CM 10.1 to Samsung stock.
I have used also Carbon (now called Helium) but it's always the same.
If i delete all my SMS in CM 10.1 and than i restore them from a backup, they came back correctly so it's not a problem with my backuped database
