I purchased my xperia play yesterday and after a bit of playing around discovered that the left and right analog sticks do not seem to work in any games, Any help?

Not all android games from the market are xperia play optimized. You need a third party app such as gamekeyboard to map the physicals keys and use on screen controls to reposition those keys to map out virtual buttons for the games you want to play. Basically with gamekeyboard you can make any non-optimized xperia play into becoming optimized.

I think it is a problem with my device after further investigation!
Have you tried any optimized games like, say, dead trigger?

I haven't tried dead trigger but i have tried lots of others and discovered using an app which shows 2 yellow dots on the screen to represent touch pad input that my touch pads only work in good light and also when the device is held pointing up!

Ebay. I bought 3 of my plays off of ebay. I did do a stress tests on them to be sure they weren't abused alot.
It might work if you install CM9.

Stock 2.3.4, Unlocked bootloader and Doomlord kernel v14 (although they are probably irreverent as i had problems on a total stock phone...

Why don't you just play the game normally. Peoples fascination with cheating is whats ruined xbox live. I don't see the point in playing if you don't play it proply

How is an on screen keyboard going to help you cheat? Is there a way of bringing up console or something?
I heard someone saying that there are some editable config files. I'd have thought you would be better off searching through those.

You can plug a plug a keyboard in n type cheats in and the files aint the same

How is XBOX Live ruined if it has more than 35 million users?
Guys, I am sorry for any inconvenience caused but I don't understand why some people can convert the game Parappa the rapper game but I got the apk couldn't write without error things fix. I'm not that good in what yifanlu had said. Can anyone here let me know what to do to fix it? I had downloaded the zpak and apk file from other websites but the game didn't seemed to respond well. Like sometimes the timing for that game isn't right. I'm sorry for a pain in the arse guys.

I had the parappa the rapper apk on my pc but I think I deleted it with all the data.it worked fine but it didn't save on easy and you couldn't go to the chicken because the game always rebooted. On normal it runs smoothly. I'll try to attach it later when I get the chance.

Thank you... I have the crash apk and zpak. I just needed the parappa because that games was nice. it runs smoothly. You can't get to chicken in easy mode. Only the normal mode can complete the whole game, mate.=) so what about the timing of those songs? Because I already had one but the timing for parappa to sing is to quick.

Can someone actually confirm that FF8 works properly with FPse before I purchase them both. If it doens't work smoothly and slows down and so on please let me know.

wait, whats wrong with it in fpse? I havent gotten very far but everything seems to work fine in it.
I can confirm ff8 does not work properly with FPse. The cut scenes have no sound and the game slows down sometimes.
I just reinstalled dead space and when I tried to play it it did not recognize the controls. Why is that?

Navigate to options via touch screen, then go into controls & see if there is an xperia play optimized control scheme.
I use to have Dead Space on my phone then my SD card gave out on me : /

There is not. What does this mean?
Dead space only has xperia play controls on the 1.1.33 all version. Not sure why they removed it for later versions.

If you purchased this thru the play store, there may be an option to uninstall updates, just search for the game in the store and see what options it gives you, if no luck you can always google search "Dead space 1.1.33.apk". Im sure someone else has an older version only

Hey guys I got a question I've minecraft for awhile and love to play on the Xperia but with my touchscreen not working I can't map it to run the game pad through the settings in the game is there any way possible to get minecraft to work with the game pads with using the place to do so? And I no I don't have a backup of the game and app data for titanium backup

I some how managed to get mine craft loaded and working using gamekeyboard then Uninstalled it since I'm on stock 2.3.4 it took three hours to get it working lol
