[GPS] Is there GPS fix for cyanogen 7.2.0?

The title says it all.
google maps will be lag cause GPS is nog working on cyanogen 7.2.0, so.
Is there a GPS fix for cyanogen 7.2.0 for galaxy gio?

It works well. What is your problem?

EDIT:
first I have installed cyanogenmod 7.2.0 RC1 build 4 here works the GPS sometimes. i saw ther is a update RC 1.1 i but now i can't use google maps! cause it is sooooo laggy!

Ah ok. I think GPS is working fine now but Google Maps is laggy. Is there a fix for that?
and is wicht version of cyanogenmod do you have?

GMaps 6.0.2/6.0.3 lagged and FC'd a lot on my CM 7.2. Now I'm using 5.10 and its working very smoothly!

on my cyanogen mod gps is good and quickly

Install maps v5!

dont know your problem, google maps 6 is working fine

True, problem is fixed in pAtch 4. Maps works without FC or lagg

Yeah, that's right!
I also applied patch 4 and now google maps 6.1.x seem to run without any issue.

still google map give FC on my gio with CM7.2 patch4 and gps not work!!!

Somebody told on a forum post you have to change regulating domain under wifi settings -> advanced. Maybe this works for you?

Photosphere crashes, the new look is nice.

No problem here with photosphere.

Works pretty well here. Photosphere does force close for me as well though. New features are cool. The camera is still slow to rotate. I dont know why they couldnt fix that. The gallery loads photos a lot faster though which is nice.

So far no problems for me. Photosphere is working fine as well.

Gnex users can use the volume - button as shutter. I always missed this on my Gnex.

I wonder why photosphere starts spinning very slowly once you started taking it... This is stupid.

IF NOT YOU WILL GET FC.

How i can activate HDR option in GNex? or is not possible?

The HDR feature has only been implemented by Cyanogenmods own camera. You cant use it with the stock camera. But have you even tried HDR? It sucks. You arent missing anything.

+ cm's camera don't have photosphere
HDR Camera is way better at dealing with the shake.

Today i got my hands on this and tested so i decided to post it for everyone else,

I know about the photosphere that's why I said what I did about it.I have no time to explain why it doesn't and why it will never work on ONE V.
Camera app as such does not crash,although video rec will.Also got no time for explanation since i am not a developer of this app(complain to Google if not satisfied),and I do not intend to modify this or support it in anyway,just a simple sharing thread as many others.
Gallery works fine.
As for the rest you are welcome to help.

As u said, no virus in it.. And btw the launcher is working smooth.. Did u wipe cache and dalvik cache and see..??

I think it's not original launcher, it's just an app that create the Kitkat Launcher's Experience

Yes, its sort of giving u an experience of how the original would be.. U can try the original on 4.2+ roms.. Its super smooth and cool looks..

It should have GPS, it's just the changes in KitKat - for example gps logo not showing in the statusbar and so on. It is hard to make sure if gps is connecting or not if you dont have the quicksettings menu on kitkat

GPS is working fine on kk and thr is only one or two major bugs like ART otherthan that kitkat is working fine. I am using it as my daily ROM.

I guess it would, since the apps are precompiled; just lots of bugs tho. Many apps are not supported yet, and it doesn't work on P6 yet.

It works for me so far. Doesn't lock on location fast enough imho.
