Stock apps you can delete

Hey guys, I wanna make a list off all stock apps you can delete. Okey let's start:
If you find anymore apps let me know.
- AccountAndSyncSettings.apk (Phone still works but no more Account and Sync settings)
- ApplicationsProvider.apk (testing for problems)
- AxT9IME.apk (delete Samsung Keyboard. Swype still there.)
- Bluetooth.apk (testing for problems. Looks like Bluetooth still works)
- CallSetting.apk (Calls work but Call Settings error)
- CertInstaller.apk (Can't install certificates but who needs that?)
- ChocoEUKor.apk (No Choco font anymore)
- ClockPackage.apk (No more Alarm Clock)
- CoolEUKor.apk (No Cool Jazz font anymore)
- CSC.apk (problems with factory reset)
- Days.apk (Delete days widget)
- DialerTabActivity.apk (No more Dialer)
- Dlna.apk (No more AllShare Service)
- DrmUA.apk (testing for problems. Looks like something is missing in Music Player and Sound Player)
- DualClock.apk (Delete Dual Clock widget)
- FactoryTest.apk (No more factory test service menu)
- Gallery3D.apk (delete Gallery app)
- GMail.apk (delete Google Mail app)
- HTMLViewer.apk (Delete HTML Viewer app)
- InfoAlarm.apk (delete Info Alarm )
- install_flash_player.apk (delete flash player 10.1)
- Lbstestmode.apk (No GPS service menu)
- lcdtest.apk (No LCD service menu)
- LiveWallpapers.apk (Delete the new Live Wallpapers from 2.2.1)
- LiveWallpapersPicker.apk (Delete LiveWallpaper menu under Backgrounds)
- Market-Updater.apk (deleted it after I got the new market. See no changes)
- MediaUploader.apk (No more Picasa option in share window)
- Mms.apk (Delete Messaging app)
- MtpApplication.apk (Problem connecting with Kies)
- MusicPlayer.apk (Delete Music Player app. Sound Player still there)
- MyFiles.apk (Delete file browser)
- NetworkLocation.apk (testing for problems. Maybe problems with Navigation [Slower?])
- OtaProvisioningService.apk (testing for problems. Maybe no OTA Update)
- Personalisation.apk (testing for problems)
- PhoneErrService.apk (testing for problems. Maybe problems with Force Close Screen)
- PhoneSetupWizard.apk (No setup after factory reset)

Remove Market apk file or files completely from:
/data/app file called com.android.vending-1.apk if there and
from /system/app Vending.apk with Root Explorer or Super Manager
Reboot to recovery and wipe (clear) dalvik-cache. After you deleted and clear dalvik-cache let phone boot (it'll take a bit longer since it rebuilds dalvik).
Next step is to extract Vending.apk from zip file and copy it in /system/app folder. Again reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik-cache.
If some trouble with file set right premissions like in picture (644); >> in Root Explorer long press on apk file and it will open menu and from menu select Premission or similar below.
Reboot and everything should work.

No one will be able to say for sure as of yet. People have only been using them for at the most about 12 hours. You need to cycle the battery a few time before you can get a true understanding of how good or bad battery life is with a specific rom.
And everyones usage is different, best bet is to give both a try for a few days and see which you prefer, but to be honest between RC2 and build #14 there will probably be no difference.

Your post count is very low, which indicates that you aren't a regular here ... Hence the question...

Thanks for doing this, but there are a lot of things you have labeled as "don't touch" which should really be optional. I know every time I download a ROM there at at least 70 different stock apps I remove, and cause no issues.

ive frozen every instance ive found DRM, with no problems... probly like the OG epic, and only nec. for mediahub, and poss. some 3rd party apps... which i would lose if tjey required it....

what am I missing?
also what is Sprint_Installer.apk is it safe to remove what does it do?
it would be nice to split this list into "flat out don't touch"
and another for Don't Touch unless you don't mind losing ....

Since this is not here for stock app removal the SDX Stock app remover 1.5 works well on our device. Backing up and deleting system apps. Deodex and odex work.

Hi,
I use LG Optimus 2x P990. When I removed all the optional apps listed here, it worked fine except YouTube.apk. Please don't remove this apk otherwise youtube wont work. After I removed YouTube.apk and downloaded youtube update, it was giving me error such as 'com.android.youtube not responding'. I had to restore that apk back to system/app to make it work again. I simply used adb push command and copied the original apk back to system/app directory from already backed up folder.

1. Boot into Newest version of TWRP Recovery (DON'T use other Recoveries)... "TWRP Recovery v2.4.4.0" <- NEW Recovery Version
2. Make "Backup" of current ROM.
3. Wipe 3x: Cache - Dalvik Cache - System - (If NEW to this ROM, then Wipe Factory Reset) - { Internal Storage (Optional) - Format Data (Optional) }

I Have been using this ROM for the last 2 months on 4 SGS3's (updated few apps and few changes since I started it)
My Family and I have run many apps, tested many tools, it's a real stable BASE ROM. We Don't get unexpected FC's.
Excellent Battery Life ...Less running apps in background, Inverted Apps have Black Backgrounds (unlike White) to save Battery.
Tips I've learned...always make sure you have Exited out of running apps or logged out (clicking to another app, practically never closes it)
-Example, if you log into Facebook Log out each time, or you'll go to bed and wake up with low battery, that app will give you uptodate notifications throughout the night.

Working Method to Manually Adding back .apk files to system\app + setting Permissions
1. Run "File Manager 1.15.0" app.
2. Go to Settings (at very bottom) check these 2 box's {Root Explorer & Mount System Folder}
3. Copy the needed files to system/app folder.
4. now, the IMPORTANT PART (setting PERMISSIONS)
......A) LONG PRESS on each of the apps you manually added to system\app - Choose PERMISSIONS
......B) have only these 4 box's checked (Owner Read, Owner Write, Group Read, Others Read)
5. Reboot {when it Reboots, it notices new system/apps and adds to ROM}

whatever you CAN add to a STOCK JB ROM with Touchwiz will work.
(Pending Files that are posted in #1+#2 Removed.) Almost all the files I removed is Bloatware, Extra files, or Propriety Samsung junk.
If a OP has a way for "app2sd" to work on stock ROM with Stock Kernel, then follow their directions with this ROM. And post your Questions with them since they are finding ways for it to work. Last month when I got my Cell, it wasn't working with stock ROM's (or at least, there where some problems as I recall)
some cool features is only available in 4.1.2 & 4.2 AKOP

Thanks, this is epic! You removed 300 MB more than I could only debloating.

try this...go to Settings - More settings - Mobile networks - Access Point Names {on lower left settings "Reset to default"}
(if you haveT-Mobile Teathering + T-Mobile US -then T-Mobile Tethering will disappear and will work afterwards)

I changed the 204 .png Battery % images in SystemUI.apk
(SystemUI.apk also contains the 23 Status Bar Toggle MOD from wanam -His original file doesn't have 204 % images, it has only 19 Green Icon images.
% image (204 files) = 0-100 % (charging + de-charging)
Green Icon (19 files) = 0, 15%, 30%, 45%, etc (charging + de-charging)
Procedure to change battery icon... start with system\app\SystemUI.apk... De-Compiled ...go to res\drawable-xhdpi... change 204 files starting with stat_sys_battery... Re-Compile and add SystemUI.apk back to system\app folder.

In Omega Files app you will find everything you need to build and customize your Omega rom the way you like it.​Instructions:
To use Omega Files you need Internet connection and your device to be rooted.
Browse Omega Files contents and download the files you want to your device.
Files are downloaded in folder sdcard/download
Install the files using your favorite method.

3. Boot to recovery and flash Omega

New modems will be available at Omega Files Free and Pro if you want to test them,
or if you loose your modem and your network connections.

Remove Bloatware:Aroma installer is not yet supported with the current recoveries.
To remove all Bloatware to all Omega I9500 roms and all all rooted roms flash this Recovery zip:
Remove Bloatware
This will zip file will first backup all Bloatware to sdcard/Bloatware
and then it will remove all Bloatware from System folder.
To restore all Bloatware from the backup sdcard/Bloatware folder flash this Recovery zip:
