i dont see a super hero anything.. jus hero... can you send me a link to the one your using? like can u upload it somewhere?
what i did was download android 1.5, then downloaded super hero build and replaced files in android. then replaced again with the jackshero ski1.6. this method should give you all the files you need and also be the most stable. for me anyway. you will want to extract the resources.zip. it will make a media directory on the root of storage. then put everything else on the root of storage outside of media folder. then simply run heret.exe.

Edit your default.txt
If you want a different LCD density, add an option lcd.density=xxx after the ppp options. 160 is default, 128 was the old "hiRes". Google Maps only works at 160.
If you don't want it to connect to data, add an option ppp.nostart=1.
I dont know if everyone has this issue or only myself....
My screen seems blurry, especially on linux boot, I attempted the lcd density adjusment as per above but can not seem to get it as clear as it used to be when massey started the project.
anyone have idea's? Am I possibly making a mistake? is everyone running into the same results?
all the sudden i keep going back to the htc logo screen and reloading everything all the time

you have to have the latest pointui installed. then enable it in today settings and then after it boots up disable it. then install the point sense suite cab. re enbable pointui in today settings. then switch themes in the pointui settings to point sense.
http://www.pointui.com/products/home-2 download point ui first and enable it in today settings let it boot up and then disable it
Do you install it to main memory? Seems like too huge for main?
ive been testing this new Xrom build for a few hours and it has hero theme with clock/weather widgets and runs very smoth and fast. i recommend trying it.
all you should need is the latest mission package zip (includes android 1.5)
http://code.google.com/p/vogue-andr...e=mssmisonpackage.zip&can=2&q=&sort=-uploaded
then replace the system sqsh with the one below
http://code.google.com/p/vogue-andr...system-xrom1.4r3.sqsh&can=2&q=&sort=-uploaded
make sure to put everything on the root of the storage card
then run haret exe
you can download as many free apps and widgets as you want from the marketplace app. Also you can add as many pages as you want to the UI.

Have you tried the latest release of the ROM
I have that problem on an older version of the ROM, but you do not need to hard reset - it takes a few boot attempts, but removing the battery and rebooting and pressing reset and rebooting after a while it does load back into the ROM
Let me know if this problem is in the latest release or an older one as I intend on upgrading to the newest to see if the problem is gone

Might flash to the new ROM using MTTY and see what happens
BTW - there is a MTTY that does not require all the stupid code this and code that and USB drivers bla bla--- it just runs right from windows and takes one flash using the romupdate utility to complete
just make sure the new rom is sitting on the storage card ready for the new flash as the phone will just stop at the splash boot screen as it now has no OS on it

MEMO
I've been using the Memo Memory and Graphic Tweaked Rom for a few months now. Now using Memo 2.6.2, which works great. There's also been great feedback on bugs through the forum, which have all been removed.

Hi before you plan to cook xda ROM . I will recommend you to try out Hong Kong Official ROM, I tried out a lot and compare different Official ROM here is the result :
The PROS that found in the ROM :
1st - Guaranty fast and stable official ROM compare to sea, O2 and also UK ROM
2nd - Receive GPS signal quickly compare to the other ROM
3rd - If u tried SEA ROM u may found out the weather unable to update frequently
4th - Google Maps Integrated inside the ROM .. which SEA ROM dont have
5th - If you using Chinese words then it is too bad for SEA and other country ROM no integrated so you need to install CE-Star inside .
This is why I recommend u Hong Kong Chinese ROM as it comes with Chinese program . You dunned to install!!
The CONS that found in Hong Kong ROM that is :
1) No WINRAR
2) It would be hard for those people who cant read in Chinese. Although I not really like Chinese ROM but after I tried it . I really satisfy with the ROM .
Give It a Try Download Different Official ROM from Touch Diamond From Various Country Website you will notify which 1 suit you the best.
You may consider the above options that I given and try it =) you may saw a huge differences.
Lastly , I wont recommend some of the ROM that posted in xda
1st - Drain battery tremendously , dry your battery life even faster than official ROM
2nd - Very lag + not as good as what your expectation, cannot reach what you wants sometimes or even worse design
3rd - 3G Video Call not Function In Certain ROM as they want to the ROM even LITE smooth and faster
HONG KONG LATEST OFFICIAL ROM - RUU_Diamond_HKCSL_CHT_2.03.832.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.44.25.24_1.08.25.20M1_Ship
Im verry sorry if i posted this in the wrong section or if the answer is allready under my nose, but i tried all other solutions and available versions without any
luck, and i bricked my phone 8 times today wich forced me to re-flash..
This subject is getting discussed in multiple sections and scattered over multiple threads, so again i apoligise if i posted in the wrong section..
The problem is this..
I updated my firmware today officially with KIES to XWJPA..
PDA: I9000XWJPA
PHONE:I9000XXJPP
CSC:I9000XENJP2
Now i really want to keep this original ROM installed, and i want the stock
AOSP lockscreen and extended power menu back i had in my previous custom rom..
All versions i tried on this forum make my phone not boot anymore past the
galaxy s logo..
Now i also found a version inside the "DOC" custom rom thread, but its "deodexed" and thus useless to me..
All i really want is the lockscreen and extended menu for my original rom, could anybody provide this for me??
thx in advance,
ronald

Darkyy's v 4.0 JPO rom has an extended power menu.
Thats what i ment..doesnt matter how many times i try it(5 times so far)...it simple bricks my phone! Wont boot past the "galaxy s" bootup screen!! Read the replys...im not the only one! Lots of ppl complaining about a bricked phone, this one simple doesnt work, and i am a windows programmer, so dont take me for a noob experimenting, sorry...
Please please provide a working version..stock lockscreen and extended power menu is enough..

As far as i understand the situation at this point, the old "leaked" XWJPA doesnt seem to be the same as the officially realeased "XWJPA"..as i said im a windows programmer and reverser, i have never even looked at linux or java from that point of vieuw...this is all new to me..
All i know, and read that thread FULLY..it doesnt work, tried it 8 times, and needed to flash my phone 8 times after that, i didnt do anything wrong, and if you read the post, lots of other ppl have the eact same problem!
Im seriously concidering flashing a custom deodexed rom, simple because it makes my modding life easyer...yes, i did see the post explaining how to create your own custom lockscreen, including a nice script taking lots of work off your hands...but its still lots of work for somebody who never interested himself in linux, java or mobile platforms..i simple dont have the time to put a few hours into this!
Oh well, still hoping somebody else with experiance in the field can help me out and provide me with a nice `update.zip` for example...
the best,
Ronald
[edit]
PS: Stop refering to other posts stating that they have a working version, after 48 hours of trial and error, i can say with sertainty that
there is no version on this forum wich works ATM! or its "deodexed" and since i got a NON-moded version of the firmware...it doesnt work....OR somebody should tell me how to extract the files from that version...i could replace them with the originals with "root explorer" or something, then that should/could also work
[edit2]
Seriously...help me..i really want this fast, id do it on my own if i hd the time, a few hours would be enough..but i got a girlfriend living with me and stuff, has some problems..i simple dont have the time because of rl-drama...id really appreciate it
+1
You're not the only one.
It doesn't work for me ether with JPA.
I hate the original SGS lockscreen but there is nothing else to do than wait.
And I don't want to use any Rom, I put together my own Rom and it has always worked great, the only thing missing now is the AOSP Lockscreen.

Hey guys,
I'm a noob here on XDA , and to the whole Smartphone scene, I decided Id buy a WFS a few weeks ago and figured i'd root it and install JellyBean .
But only a few days ago I found out that you could only install Roms with the stock kernel?
So , basically i'm disappointed because I took it for granted id be able to install Jellybean just because I saw videos of it on You Tube and saw Roms etc.
But I saw a thread on another forum site, some guy mentioned something about using Notepad++ and opening up the "Updater_Script" File in the Rom you want to install and delete the first line of text (claiming its something got to do with verifying the devices model) , apparently it worked for him with a "Black screen recovery" model, with a CM9 Alpha 7 + 8. I tried it with CM10 JellyKing, and it didn't give me any luck, :/
So anyway I just wanted to throw all that out there because its all I know on the issue, and if anyone knows anything else or any Rom fixes or any other options I have to get a smoother lighter Rom Id be glad to hear it, or if they know of any Devs working on it.
I'd really appreciate any info given as i'm finding it very hard to get any information at all, I've been searching for a long, long time and it seems us people with the new model WFS are being neglected :/.

They all work on WFS 2012, but by me, on all of them, after I download something from the market and the application starts installing on the phone my WFS reboots and is like this every time it tries to install something. If you try any of these roms please share if you have the same problem. Thanks.
NOTE: Do not install custom kernels, except this one, which is not exactly a custom one but a stock just with the ability for CPU overclock:

Is this some sort of tweaked Jellyking Rom to work on the 2012 WFS?
Is there a need to install that kernel?
This isn't another one of those 'can somebody port Sense' threads.
Please note that this thread is for developer-oriented discussion. If you don't have anything to say to help development, please refrain from posting here.
Also note that ideas are welcome. Just check if the idea you're about to post has already been posted by somebody else.
Right now, it's just multiple people working on this. No team, just individuals.
As of the last edit of this post, there has been little to no progress:
I'm constantly working on builds. The current, and the only goal I'll be striving towards as of now is using a T-Mo HTC One X ROM in combination with RaymanFX's CM10.1 RC2 build.
XDA RC @abcdjdj has reported that he has fixed a lot of errors in his build, and is now stuck at the bootanimation. If you can help him in any way, here is what's wrong with his build. He's using FXP's CM9 as a base and a 4.0 HTC One X with Sense 4 ROM as a port.
The OP will constantly be updated with any progress anyone makes.
We're currently using this XDA thread to help us port the ROM.
--------------------------------
Here's everything I have to share on my build:
PORT: HTC One X, T-Mobile Edition| Android 4.2.2
BASE: Sony Xperia S, nozomi | Android 4.2.2
------------------------
ITesters needed. If you can work through adb commands and can provide me with logcats, please leave a post about it in the thread.
And finally, a note to anyone that may be cursing me for working so very slow (because I admit, this is very slow):
Please understand that all this isn't easy for me. I have painfully slow internet, making each download at least one hour, and thus a pain. My time on this project is limited every day, so progress is slow.
Reserved.

Okay, so this is the work that has already been done and some of the mysteries that puzzle me right now:
I've edited the CM9 kernel's ramdisk, like stated in the tutorial I'm using (see post 1). As of now, the kernel itself is broken and even if the ROM was complete, not even the booting would work. (Well, booting works as far as showing the boot logo (the green FXP one) goes. But the LED notification light for entering recovery doesn't light. Bootloop over and over...)
Many of the lib files intended to be copied from one lib folder to the other are missing on our Nozomis... My question is, what are the consequences...?
My main issue here is that the zip won't flash. The recovery (no matter which I choose) just returns an 'ERROR' and refuses to flash the file...
Another question would be how to repack an .elf kernel into a boot.img. Because now, I'm trying with letting the CM9 kernel in the zip (since it is an .img) and then flash the modified .elf kernel that I repacked with Flashtool. Inefficient, but at least there's a way.
So currently, the priority list would be:
1.Get zip to flash
2.Fix kernel
...Not necessarily in that order. We could fix the kernel first, but there isn't much gain to it if the ROM zip can't even be flashed to test if it truly works...

Bro, it may be possible to get Sense on our devices. Even I have been working on getting Sense booted on our device. My status:-
PORTED FROM - HTC ONE X
BASE - FXP 215 CM9
STATUS - Gets past kernel and even loads bootanimation. Fixed many errors in the logcat. Gets stuck at bootanimation and even displays a message saying that System is not responding, would you like to close it.
I couldn't manage to fix any more errors in the logcat so I gave up but you have rekindled my spirit to get Sense booting on out device. I will upload my rom soon along with the logcat.
Cheers,
abcdjdj
Wow, you actually got the thing to boot?
The only question is how did you manage that based off of a tegra CPU? Would be very interested in seeing that...
On a not-so-very related note, your port was of ICS and Sense 4 , correct?
Am I the only one around here that favors old software?

Not fully booting but I think close to booting. I followed the guide mentioned by you in the OP and one by one eliminated all errors that I could eliminate. I had been working on Sense for around a month during my school holidays but now I am not getting any free time. And yes it is Sense 4 (Android 4.0.4).
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
But isn't the Tegra3 completely different than our FUJI board?
Especially the graphics, those must be out of control on your ROM...
If I were you, I'd at least take the AT&T version of the HOX.
Oh yeah, I forgot to ask: is it the same if I try and port from a MSM8260 board (the same as the Xperia) and the later S4 Qualcomm versions (used in the Xperia T, AT&T One X etc.)? Because porting from a CDMA phone (HTC Rezound) seems to make the work harder...
Thankfully, my summer holidays have just begun, so I have plenty of free time (that's also the reason I started my project).
P.S.
Yeah, maybe that's exactly what I should do. Ditch the CDMA phone and start with the Snapdragon S4 One X!
I would prefer Sense 3.x, but oh well, at least Sense4 is also Sense
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/sense-4-ported-to-sony-xperia-devices/
I just found this. It's not even that old...
Anyways, I've been thinking if the devs of this would be able to help us.
This development stuff gets boring pretty quick when you do it for the 10th time

Well, I thought I'd make this thread so that devs could help each other to actually work together and create a working Sense ROM. So naturally, all help is welcome from anyone.
Anyways, I'm on my way to finishing yet another try, this time with the AT&T One X. Fingers crossed that it at least makes it to the bootanimation.
EDIT: I see that the easiest way to get Gapps is with including the default /data folder from the original HTC ROM (with vending, youtube etc.). But I have to add that to the updater-script. So, I want to ask, is /dev/block/mmcblk0p14 the data partition on the Nozomi?
What's happening?

Hi,
I am porting [or trying to port] Sense 4 from HTC One X to Xperia S. I used FXP 214 CM9 as a base. I followed this guide - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2245786
Then I fixed as many errors as I could by checking the logcat and got it till the Bootanimation. But now I need help to get it to boot. So, I have attached the logcat from my latest build.
Thanks for your help,

I'm trying it with the HOX, just need to wait for it to copy to the phone...
All this seems like a big race -- who will get it working first? Hyped!
Kinda makes me wish I still had my xperia S I could have given this a real good go at; but instead I have a galaxy s4, so it's going to be mostly logcats and such I can help with, I don't like blind building things; made that mistake before.
A blind build is better than no build. Unless it makes bricks...
Thanks a lot for helping out.
Though I'll never understand how a pro HTC dev can go to Sony and then Samsung. ;P
I just hope THIS time my kernel will boot... Cause if it doesn't ... [censored]...
EDIT: Okay, [censored] is happening... Why can't I make this zip flash? I've done it a million times, but all I get is ERROR... ;-;
unfotunatly, i'm not a dev. but i really like the idea. specially if considering porting htc one sense version to our nozomi. i think it would fit like a glove
