Yes, if you're rooted and using Siyah kernel (not sure if it's available on the US GS3 though because I use the i9300 international version), S-Tweaks works. But it only works with Siyah kernel.

Not available on this device.. Only int version

Tegrak is better but twilight and genocide both allow custom UV. Also revolted kernel. For genocide only use the version in the op of that thread

I agree tegrak is better, however to find the best voltage a frequency runs on you need to buy tegrak pro or VC pro because the lite versions can overclock but not overvolt. Plus tegrak also has internal voltage too.

There is a tegrak kernel, its just for the galaxy s and wont work. When we use tegrak on our devices it loads a kernel "module" that allows you to overclock

As far as i know then it must be supported in kernel, if your current kernel does not allow it then it is a no go.

benchmark

What is a great benchmark for an over clocked gs3 using the quadrant app in the play store
It also depends on what rom you're using.

The S3 usually gets around 8000, but like the guy above said, it depends on your rom, your kernel, any OC, UC, or UV settings you have, etc etc, so.theres no "best"

What app?

Hey there everyone. I am new to the Nexus 4 and was just curious what app you guys prefer for cpu control?
On my S2 I used Trickster Mod among others.
I'm currently running AOKP w/ faux kernel.

I use Franco kernel updater simply because I use Franco kernel.

I'm using faux kernel too, and using FauxClock and FauxDisplay to control both kernel and display settings, they worth the price
It depends on the kernel since a lot of developers have there own apps to tweak their personal kernels. Trickster is safest for all of the kernels but try out the developer apps as well(if they are free)
