Hi,
I was recently trying to share some pictures through Wifi Direct using my Galaxy S3 (SGH-I747M) to another S3 (Same Model) and It wouldn't let me share them. I can't send the invite to the other device but it can send me the invite and it says "Connected" once I accept it. I attempt to share the pictures through Wifi Direct by selecting the other S3 then pressing done, but it just sends me back to the same device selection screen. But when the other S3 (the one I am attempting to send files to) connects with another S3 it connects fine and transfers the files. Is this something wrong with my phone or a software bug?

I have a AT&T galaxy s 3 since the beginning it appear. Unlocked through ATT Costomer service . I am using straight talk service. it was working fine when it was ICS OS .but after i update to jellybean i found a problem that APN remove automatically whine i connect to home network wi-fi. by this time i always have to set apn and go outside. is any body having this problem or any suggestion.i mean to say APN automatically delete when i connect to wifi.

I have a videotron galaxy note II (SGH-T889V) which cannot connect to the cellular network.
The cellphone is running a stock image and have never been flashed with anything else. I re-flashed the device with the stock image thinking that it may fix my issue. The phone have been unlocked using this method.
I have tried a telus sim card and I had the same issue... I cannot make/receive calls or send/receive sms, wifi and bluetooth works.
One weird thing though is that the cellphone, somehow, can notice me when I have new messages in my voicemail.
I've read a lot of thread on the forum but most of them also had an IMEI. I'm not sure how to fix this.
Is there any way to perform test to know exactly what's going on?
Does anybody have a clue?
I heavily use IM on my phone to talk to friends oversea,
whenever I'm on T-mobile network 4G/4G LTE, phone won't download pictures.
as soon as I connect to Wi-Fi everything downloads very quickly.
it doesn't happen when I browse website or facebook.
I haven't try MMS..
has anyone know how to fix this issue?
it doesn't happen on other carriers, I have friends who are on ATT, Verizon and sprint use same IM and have no problem.
my friend who has T-mobile S3 LTE saids no problem with it..
I am new so forgive me if im posting in the wrong place.
Heres my need....i busted my S5, so I took my sim card out & placed it in my Galaxy tab 3, hoping to use it as my phone until I can replace my S5. I rooted the tab successfully using instructions on this forum. Now how do i unlock the calling feature so i can receive & make calls using my at&t cell service, not wifi app?
I have seen post about international firmware,but all the download links are dead.
My tablet is activated & running 4.4.2, i do not have a stock phone icon/app & only dial pad is hangouts.

I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you this but as far as I remember the ATT modem is Data only, you can get text messages by installing GOSms (i think that's the only one I've gotten texts working with) but no calls, the default dialer app that's hidden only allows to send codes and wont allow you to place or receive calls, I've tried replacing it with another dialer from a different rom and didnt have any luck
Hello everyone, I am French and I live in France, I bought on the Internet (Amazon) a note 4 thinking that it would be made for France. I received a note 4 with reference N910A, so a phone that is done normally for the USA. On my phone I have android kitkat 4.4.4 and no recent android version is available when I ask for the update. With my phone I have all AT & T applications that do not serve in France. I can call and send SMS, but I can not send mms. I would like to know how I can install a newer version of Android still being able to continue to use my note 4 in France, please.

for MMS to work you probably need to adjust some setting on your phone. If you call your carrier they should be able to help you put in the correct MMS setting. You shoudl also check if the internet is working so they can help you with that was well if its an issue.
If you can get an AT&T sim card or AT&T MVNO's sim card, like H20 wireless, insert the sim card into your phone and probably can get update from AT&T(of course the phone need to be able to access the internet), at least it works in US. The MMS issue depends on your carrier, you need to ask your carrier how to set the phone to get MMS works.
