Sense 3.5 click on sense 2.1?

I'm currently using a sense 2.1 rom and was interested to know whether or not it was possible to use the clock widget, which comes with sense 3.5 roms?
I copied the apk from a sense 3.5 rom but was confronted with the "installation failed" error... Anyone?

in short, u cant i think.
sense apps rely heavily on framework files, which are different between versions. and if u want to install, you should push it to /system/app, and it still wouldnt work

its not fully sense but it does looks good its from launcher pro hope you like it

did not really understand the question, but if you mean you want an alt contacts app then try ExDialer... it comes with a customizable dialer and contacts app...

the contacts/people app is one by HTC, I need the native ICS one..

Did you mean this app ?

sorry for the confusion, I was hoping to get vanilla ICS contacts app.

Would it be possible to port it to our device?and jb sense roms?

yes, trie it and dosn´t work... install error
my hox has maximus 4.1 rom

maybe it work on asop JB because the dev who make the asops is the same for nexus and hox?!

this lockscreen looks simple yet sweet.
camping for someone who can port to sense!

You can't port it. I has to be build into a AOKP ROM. I've done it before on my NovaHD rom

I was able to port this to aokp and it was working fine. But since google has updated to 4.1.2 it is no longer working. Lockscreen is still black by merging this to 4.1.2 and I can't find a way to make it transparent.

hey man no need of any zip.if you are using stock sense 2.1 ,2.3.5 rom you just need to put two lines in build.prop.
# Properties for supporting framework features
ro.htc.framework.screencapture = true
just add these lines and save it.
and if you are using other than stock sense rom here is screenshot zip.
its not flashable,
so extract it and then,
lib goes to /system/lib
apk goes to /system/apk
and add notepad lines to /system/build.prop
& dont forget to change permissions to 644

yeah man.i was surprised that HTC people just didnt add two lines in build.prop and thats why we couldnt take screenshots.

lol.sometimes HTC sucks.but best thing is service center near my home.they replaced my PCB 5 times,screen 2 times,mice,speaker as well as promixity sensor(that UI thing).

I've installed @MameTozhio 's HTC Droid v.1.8 beta but the system still says I am on v.1.7.
Is it just a mistyped or have I done something wrong?

I've noticed another small issue on this beautifull rom: I hear no sound when selecting a ringtone (settings>sound>phone ringtone). Everything is ok when someone is calling though. So is it just my phone or is this a known issue?
And thank you @MameTozhio for all your efforts, you are doing really great!

It's something new. Try to use Customization app from older version (1.2)

No it's not something new. I didn't know it didn't work and I can't test it myself right now because I'm fiddling with Baidu Cloud ROM, porting it from HTC G12

Have you decided whether lockscreen will be updated to sense 5 style or you will leave it as well? Just asking because you have mentioned that you are still considering about it on the main thread.
By the way, with all the respect to ckpv5 roms (they are really nice), this one seems much smoother than myOneV. At least I've got that impression. Thanks!
