Hello,
Has anyone else come across a issue with their phone in terms of media being on the phone but not being found?
For example I had about 900photos on my phone when it went back to Samsung , it came back un wiped but when I flashed a custom ROM after unlocking boot loader again the pictures where still there but couldn't be found in gallery same with music being there but not found in any music player.
The recognises there is data on the phone but doesnt show it other than through a file explorer which will then display / play music.
Just wondering has anyone else come across this odd bug ? And is there a quick fix? Screen shots included , as you can see storage doesn't add up neither does gallery.
ROM : black bean
Kernel: faux

Does anyone know where to find this app? I found an updated one but I want the older version since it goes all the way back to the 80's.

This is the pic of the actual app. There is newer one but its on from like 2000-up. I forgot to back it up before I switched roms
Thanks
I need to keep an eye on this. I would love an app to help me find old songs.
The old version goes all the way to 1960. I can't believe that I forgot to back it up when I upgraded my rom.
I hope someone finds it for me. I can't find it anywhere. I only found 2.0 and its nice but it only goes back to 2000.
And the older one downloaded the songs pretty fast.

It looks like you have some automatic reporting going on that is generating that email. I know a lot of FCs (Force Closes) offer to report the issue, and some ROMs format it the same way. Check the settings of your ROM and see if there are any options turned on to automatically send error-reports.
I'm using the official ROM and there are no options like managing the error's report

I've solve this error by change the permission for 'bugmailer.sh'; all what's you need is rooted device and root explorer 'or any apps working as manager of file system
Everything now is working well
Thanks a lot

I have had some bugs lately with photo sphere, not always but a couple of times the image was not processed correctly and had lost a great image. I attach an example. I found this image in the gallery, very bad quality and with the divisions on it. It's just happened random and want to know if I did something wrong or it'll it just a bug. Maybe I turned off the screen before it ended the process or who knows...
Any help to avoid this happening in the future will be great.
Using paranoid Android and ak kernel v20 by the way.

looks like you snapped before the camera had time to adjust and prepare to capture.. it happens to me on occasion.
you can always try to reflash your gapps to get the proper camera.apk and or gallery.apk again
Hi fellas... very short... I have two Cappy Glide with the same issue:
when installing AOSP ROMs (PAC-ROM, CM10, PARANOID, ETC) is missing offline charging animation...
i search, i google it... but not found signs to solve this...
for reference.. this is an offline charging animation:

}
Thanks in advance
Same problem!
I want to have the charging animation but nothing works :S
I've tried taking the files from the system media folder in the stock ICS rom and copied them to an AOSP rom, CM11, and that still didn't fix this issue. The files are the image files used to display the offline charging animation. Copied over everything and gave the files the same permissions as they had originally had. Didn't even know if that was worth trying, just a shot in the dark one day at this issue.
ppl reported issues with charger, so I've removed commit is here: https://github.com/buborh/android_d...mmit/d69d2297b90f120a926a207326c64149e1e2ff3c
I've recently rooted and updated my phone to CM10.1 with JB 4.2.2. Was not quite pleased with the way the gallery changed. First, the videos I've downloaded went grey (only some appeared), the camera images and other camera videos are fine though, can't find my video without tapping one by one, I can't even see the names. also, was wondering if the update doesn't allow my videos to be viewed in the side unless I've turned on my rotation settings (which is quite annoying).
I found solutions like deleting inside .thumbnails folder , used busybox to allow permissions, clearing cache of my .com.android.gallery3d, rebooted my phone a lot, nothing works..
Can you guys help?
