Hi, im trying to use the NFC tags from and old toy (Ztamps Link)
and i cant make them work, already did the homework and not the search button or google seems to help.
Any clue?

hi i just installed black ed 3.01 love it btw great work
but im havin an issue with ma keyboard, the symbols are mixed up

It's easy to fix.. Just remove the keys and reposition them to line up with the ROM. OR, use a permanent marker and white-out to correct the mistakes.
Solution here: Get a copy of HTCustom and select your keyboard layout... That'll fix it.

champion... try using the search function attached to this forum... i believe up the top... in the brown section ... there is a search function...
use it...

OMG! Walsh! I never saw that!! You mean there is a SEARCH function on this site? But, I want to FIND something--do you mean to tell me that a SEARCH would help me find something? I thought you only SEARCHed if you missing your little Dog and it couldn't find its way home.. Don't tell me that you can SEARCH on a forum and FIND an **ANSWER**! OMG! That's deep!

so i wonder ehat you asked in 24 posts i wonder what you learned in your time here at Xda cuz if you dont know how to change your keyboard symbols you shouldnt be flashing ROMS my friend. that is N00b lesson 101 if you cant fix it dont flash it... Also there is little niffty search button and a thing called google.com if you have a question try there first and dont make a stupid thread thats a waste of space and time...

Hi does any1 know where to get a free GPS software like TomTom that will work on my HD? I have google maps and latitude but looking for real time GPS.

Hey guys, I read somewhere that Google maps now has navigation in the UK however have not been able to find how to turn It on. Do I need to mod something? Any advice would be much appreciated.!

I read that any NFC capable phone can use them.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but I have tried this and I can't seem to get it to work. My wife has the Xperia S and I have the One X. I got the app Xepria Smart Tag and NFC Task Launcher (free version) but I cant get either to work.
When I turn on NFC in the setting and then scan a tag I just get a line that tells me a smart tag has been scanned. I can't then set what I want it to launch. Help on this would be great.

i have just purchased a nexus 5 after a long wait for its release, so i am now going to have an nfc enabled phone. I go to a university where we have nfc tags instead of keys and i would like to know if it would be possible to write the information from the nfc tag to my phone so i will be able to use my phone as my key so i dont have to keep taking my key around with me.
any help with this would be much appreciated, or if its just not technically possible at least it will have put this idea to rest in my head

Thanks for the reply! Just got an email from google saying my N5 has shipped cant wait to try this!
Id be a bit concerned if my campus keycard system could be cloned by anyone with nfc on their phone. If your school is on their and puts some level of encryption on their system. Then again if they are at all like my school was when it comes to tech, clone away!

unfortunately the key is encrypted but got my nexus 5 so woo!
You might be able to talk to the person who runs the keycards and get them to flash your phone but id highly doubt they'd let you do it.

It clones a card: You need another card..
yeah i asked in the recepetion today and the guy i was talking to didnt seem to have any clue of what nfc actually is, but he wouldnt let me do it anyway
