Try this.
Settings > Language and Input > Text to Speech Output > Choose Samsung TTS > press the settings gear > Settings for Samsung TTS > General Settings > Select Voice Effects
Here you can choose a number of effects including Robotic.

I have a problem with mine and my wife's GIII, when an emails comes in the notification sound is garbled. It is happening about 70% of the times. I have already exchanged one phone but the new one is the same...
Is it normal ?
No, that isn't normal. Have you tried other sounds, or other file formats? How long is the sound?
yes, I have tried other sounds (about 4 or 5) but it is still the same, no sure about other files type but the one I use the most is "Temple bell".
The strange thing is that if you ear the sounds when trying to pick them for your specific notification they all sound ok but then when the real notification trigger the sound in most of the cases sounds garbled...

If you have Bluetooth on, try turning it off when you're not using it.

Do you have bluetooth on when you experience the garbled notification sounds?
And are you rooted?
Yes

I don't know if this will help but I have the same problem. When I have too many text messages all my notifications sound messed up, everything from email to text doesn't sound right. As soon as I clear out my text messages it fixes the problem right away and it's usually caused from text messages from my girlfriend because they're so many there.

You have to be rooted to try this but deleting the musicfx.apk has solved some strange audio problems. Then install dsp manager to replace it and re improve the sound.

There is a bug with the text message notifications. You have to go into the settings for your text messages and uncheck "automatically delete messages". This will fix your problem.
yes I have bluetooth always on, I will try to see if is better when off but I use bluetooth a lot so... no good....

I think your best bet is to root and remove that musicfx.apk and .odex then replacing with dsp manager. Im not sure of another fix unfortunately.

Finally found an app that works "Automatic call recorder by Global Effect."
I'm using koontz kernel.
If your using MOAR. You dont need a app. It has it built in with Xposed. "If you look, you will find."
Yes, I know it's built in but only works if you have the speaker on.

There's a mod by Rompnit that is the only one I've seen work. I own 10 different apps (sadly).
Going to give this a try.

Are you sure?It worked for me without having Speaker On. They got saved as AMR.
The format it was saved in didn't matter. Both voices would only be picked up if the speaker was on.
@Johnny Epic - did the app work for you? What app mod are you talking about?
Its a mod by Rompinit. Flashable zip (must be rooted) I flashed it while on The Peoples Rom by Kennyglass. It adds a button to the dialer. I have the zip but can't find the link if you'd like to have a peek.
I downloaded but haven't tried it yet. (lazy)
