I've searched but didn't find anyting. Is there an app or something anywhere that would allow us to take wide pictures with the play?

I don't know what you mean by "wide pictures" but there is an app that lets you take pictures with the R button. It's simply called "Camera mod".
Wide, widescreen...

The only way I know how to do widescreen is to crop after taking them.

Use Photoshop to make the photo 16:9 rather than 4:3. There's no way to expand the left/right, you can only crop the top/bottom so why bother?
I'm not interested in editing. I want them correctly in that format.

The app Camera ICS (which works on GB) claims to allow widescreen photo taking
Surprising it works on gingerbread! But Milo wide. I think the problem is hardware camera. It's possible to modify the camera app, some did it for another Xperia.

Lol, wide = panorama, panorama can be 360 or like this one.
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
I checked about panorama apps, indeed wide but very small resolution and low quality....

Hi I was wondering if there is any way to add an effect fisheye to the camera ....
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Try Camera360 Ultimate, it has fisheye effect. I have never tried it, though.
I tried it but it isn't exactly what I was looking for . Is there any app that could allow fisheye recording and not just to take a picture and converte it to fisheye...?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
The built-in HTC camera has it! Just tap the magic wand icon, select the first effect (called "distortion", I think; I have the language set to Dutch) and adjust the slider all the way to the plus side. That way it turns from a "pinch" to a "fisheye" lens.

This is what you are looking for: FxCamera. It has got fisheye. Enjoy!
This actually isn't fisheye effect ...

yea its ok but it still doesn't allow to record a video in fisheye effect .it only transforms the picture to fisheye after it is taken .

Are you sure? With the slider all the way to the right it looks pretty fisheye-like to me, like this:

Edit: added an example pic I made with the HTC camera.

It's not exactly the same ( or I'm wrong ) , but there is no option to record with fisheye effect , so if there is a program that could allow recording please someone tell me

Just a heads up for people that like to take very nice pics with the phone. IMO this is the best HDR Camera app out. Not sure about the new rainbow icon lol (nothing against rainbows) but the app is excellent.
Just a hint on this, make sure to go in settings/image size and select 8megapixel.

Take enough pictures and you won't have to ask, lol.
(you can use your 8mp max resolution instead of like 1mp...no ads...and I forget, there is something else...I don't remember...I bought it the second I got my first irritating video ad...awesome app)
Amazing app! I got it free on the Amazon market.

The amazon app store is not bad but I rember that some of the apps you get from there won't work unless you have the amazon app installed at all times....is that still the case? I used it a while ago...

For most apps it needs to be installed. That doesn't really bother me though.

How about some pics of the same thing taken in HDR and non HDR?
Take a look at the picture thread on general, there are several posts with people using HDR. Some really good ones in there.

I know that but when you apply a wallpaper on any launcher the default is in a smaller form. As shown here. V

If you want the whole picture, without cropping the pic, try an app called wallpaper wizadrii
Or u can adjust the crop size by touching the bottom dot and dragging it down, then do the same to the opposite dot.

Do you mean resolution as in, 240?

Not one that'll change the size of the photo like that. If you really want to you can continue taking pics in 8mp resolution and crop them down to a 16:9 aspect ratio yourself

Tested and working on Hyperdrive. Should work on all current GS3 Roms.
Screenshots later, I'm posting this from my phone. It looks like the "4.3 camera" exactly though.
NOTE: Focus before taking pictures, otherwise it crashes. You can relaunch it without a reboot though :good:
NOTE 2: EVERYTHING WORKS!

Hahahaha nice painting. Okay I'll try it out. Only question is, will this replace the stock aokp camera on task650? Cause there seems to be a bug that doesn't allow any other camera to take front facing pictures and instead just reboots the phone when you try.
