There is an exhaustive thread on this.....that we've all had to read to get root. It's all there if you read it.

SL is just a upgrade version of S, it seems to work , but not really sure

I think it is the same.
The only difference is the processor, so give all Xperia S mods and tuts a try!

Hey! I rooted mine using just the Xperia S method (root many devices or something like that, it was a stick). It worked fine

thanks dude for the firmware.
I've tried to deodex my firmware but failed
I use xultimate and stopped in step 3....
Can you show how to do it for me?:angel:
at least tell me why it happened...

Don't have that much idea on Deodex procedure. You can check this thread, this is for Xperia S, but may help you or you can ask the OP.
